1999 5.9L Magnum upgrade

Hello all, I have a 1999 Dodge 1500 4X4 with the 5.9L Magnum, auto transmission. This truck is our hunting and fishing vehicle and has an older Starlight pop-up camper on it. We rebuilt the suspension with 3" lift, airbags and 33" tires. The truck is in great shape and we want to keep it long term. We want to beef up the 5.9L so that we can tow our largest boat without issues. Looking for suggestions to try to get about 50 more hp out of it without going overboard. Thanks

98 Ram van 5.2 lost power.

Van was running fine then a engine light came on. Was barely able to drive it home 2-3 miles. Would only get to about 5 mph. Will still crank and idle but will not rev up, sounds like it's starving for air. Checked codes P0300 multi misfire. Cyl 1,2,4 &7 codes. 5 codes total, all misfires. Fuel pressure good(about 50 psi). Put new distributor cap & button, wires & plugs. New coil pack. Just after a crank test, I pulled # 7 (1 /w a code)plug and is was soaking wet. 2003 dodge 1500 4.7 SLT

yes I have a 2003 ram 1500 I just put a new user 4.7 motor in it and it ran fine third day and my alternator started winning so I put my old alternator back in now the motor won't start and as soon as I turn the key to the on position the voltage gage goes to zero and it just turns over does anyone have any ideas

04 hemi idles 500-1000-500 and dies

Ok guys just put a new rebuilt 5.7 eng in last week, new knock sensor,oil psi, cam sensor , factory mopar parts . Jba headers orileys fuel injectors and map sensor , doorman intake manifold and new throttle body, coils packs champion plugs, and new wires Got the truck to start and it will not idle but will run at 1200 rpms and up . Checked the fuel psi at the rail and I have 60 psi . Today I got a p138 so changed the o2 sensor b1s2 and b1s1 that cleared up my code but the... 04 hemi idles 500-1000-500 and dies

06 power steering issue

Recently my power steering pump completely went out on my 2006 1500 5.7. I replaced it almost immediately within the next day or so, and bled the system except for the rack. After the new pump was in, about a week later I realized a leak in the oil cooler, and power steering fluid was dripping from one of the cooler lines. Immediately replaced that, but the fluid never went dry. (i must have bent it in a way to cause this because it was badly corroded.) After replacing fluid, pump and cooler... 06 power steering issue

2001 Ram 1500

Son bought a 01 Ram 1500 and has had nothing but transmission issues. He has changed out three already and now on the third when he puts it into reverse the drive shaft spins but the truck creeps. He has changed the governed Solenoid and the code still comes back. Any help will be appreciated.

2500 diesel 1996 what it worth 195,000 mile.

I was thinking I would like to sell my 1996 dodge ram 2500 diesel. I good condition. I had people tell me that it was worth around $10,000. Does this sound right to anyone. What should i expect to get for this truck?

Starts hard first thing in the morning

Hey folks! New Magnum owner here; 05 RT RWD. My magnum starts pretty hard first thing in the morning. Even more so when its cold. In fact, we had a pretty code day last week highs in the 20's and it would not start at all that day. Cycling the key on/off a few times seemed to help it start which I thought would be a fuel pump. Put a new pump in yesterday (drivers side only) and went out today and same thing. Took 4 cycles of the key to get it to start. Of course it runs/starts great after...
