gas and evaporator connector sizes ... and replacement of lines ???

My wife has a 2012 Grand Caravan with a lowered floor for her wheelchair. Went to have it inspected today and they said it needed new fuel and evaporator lines ... we live in VT .. everything rusts away. I actually knew it had a vac leak ... I found to rotted spots and "jumped" the spots with rubber hose so I didn't get an OBD error. Problem ... the lines were custom make to accommodate the dropped floor. The conversion company is 600 miles away so can't go to them. Tried three shops... gas and evaporator connector sizes ... and replacement of lines ???

2000 Dodge Ram abs, air bag lights on plus speedometer and AC not working

Hi there everyone, I have an issue with my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 truck. Been trying to diagnose but i have hit a brick wall. I have abs and air bag lights on plus speedometer and AC not working. Everything else appears to be ok. Anyone got any advice where i should start. I have spent a bunch already changing sensors etc but i cannot afford to put it in the shop. Any help is greatly appreciated Thank you, Simon

Hey Dodge Community, my name is Simon. I have a 2000 black Dodge Ram 1500 long bed Quad cab. Had it since 2006. Has 5.9L motor and only has 85,000 miles on it. Not used it much at all in recent years cos it drinks gas. Just use it to haul stuff to/from the local landfill. I am originally from England but my family and I moved to Savannah Georgia in 2006. Noises!!

Hello, so here's my deal. I got a 2019 Ram 1500 3.6 Bighorn with 34k miles on it. When I turn on my A/C there's a tick like noise around the passenger wheel well kinda like a ticktickticktick……(nothing)…….tickticktic tick and so on. Here's the catch though….it only does it in park. As soon as I put it in drive it's gone. The lower I turn my fan speed it dampens out. A/C in cab works as it should. I'm very new to the newer Rams. Is that just the nature of the beast or what. It's driving... Noises!!

Serpentine conversion

I have a 1988 dodge W100 with a 318 and I'm trying to figure out if a 360 serpentine conversion kit will work on my 318 because I can't find a 318 conversion kit that has power steering and alternator pulleys only the 360 has them so I'm trying to see maybe someone here who has more knowledge might know if it will work or a different route I could go ? 2016 - replaced rocker arms and now runs like poo?

Hey all. Hoping for some help! I had the infamous "3.6 tick" at 102k on my 2016 Grand Caravan. Decided to replace the rocker arms myself, as well as do a spark plug change. There's a "shortcut" for replacing the rockers, where the cams are not removed. It involves turning the crank by hand and gaining just enough clearance under each cam lobe to slip the old rockers out and the new ones in. 98 falls on It's face!!!

Hi, I have a 98 with a fresh built 318. It's 30 over at about 9.5+ compression. The heads have been ported as the same for the kegger intake. The cam Is a hughes speced out at 208 Intake and 214 exhaust @.050 and 523I/533E lift that is with 1.6 ratio rockers. I'm running 1.7 ratio rockers. From a dead stop the truck has nothing but, when It gets going she takes of like a rocket. Don't really know what Is going on I was thinking bigger injectors maybe? any help would be appreciated.

05 ST parts

I have an 05 Durango ST with shocks, anyone know the part numbers/ids, or where I can get new oem parts? I would rather not go the aftermarket route as they're usually not as quality as factory spec from what I've been told. Second thing, my engine makes a chirping/squeaking at idle, would that be my idler pulley or my timing belt or what? And what would the part id be for that?

How to electric tailgate lock?

Hi My truck came without a tailgate lock. I've installed a stand-alone one I found on Amazon but obviously it does not work with my key fob. It works for now, but what I would really want is when I use my key fob to lock my passenger doors the tailgate locks as well. So, did the 2006 RAM every come with a factory tailgate lock? Emergency Brake Light On

Hi Recently my emergency brake light has been going l on periodically. What's looks to be l happening is the emergency brake is dropping down half an inch or so causing the light to go in. Should I get a 2nd opinion?

So I took my magnum R/T with 61k miles in to the shop yesterday because a few weeks back the car was acting funny going into reverse and didn't want to leave first gear once. A SINGLE TIME. It was parked ever since. Yesterday morning it shifted through all gears and everything else perfectly when I drove it to the shop in the morning. Last night They called me when I got off work around 5 saying that my trans was toast, it's been overheated and it was 4 quarts low on fluid and that the fluid... Should I get a 2nd opinion?

Gen 4 rear bumpers on a Gen 3 2007 Ram

I got into a little fender bender a couple of weeks ago and since I am getting a new rear bumper. I would like to see if a Gen 4 dual exhaust bumper would fit? I have really like that look since it came out. Has anybody ouut there been able to make this work? If so, how did you do it? How complicated was it? Any pictures?

So I've never had this problem, can a person have brand new keys made without the original? It's a 1977 d100 and they keys are at the bottom of a marina. Already tried magnet fishing.

Stubborn Passenger Seat

2005 Dodge Dakota Laramie Club Cab with bucket seats. The truck sat for a few years and I recently worked on it to bring it back to a daily driver - fixed AC, new tires, new brakes, fluid changes. All is good. Except, on the passenger seat I lifted the lever to tilt the passenger backrest towards the windshield in order to put something behind the seat and the backrest is stuck. Factory Clear coat

I am redoing some spots on my 2009 Challenger. I have the paint, but am unsure how to restore the factory shine. I do not have a professional sprayer, so aerosol is my only option. Any suggestions are welcome, please and thank you.

Tailgate Cap

The tailgate cap I had installed, which is kinda like a spoiler, is preventing me from closing the door on my camper shell. I took it off but there are four holes in the tailgate. I bought a Bushwacker cap hoping it would be long enough to cover the holes but didn't. See picture. Does anyone know of another product that is longer that will cover those holes? It's unsightly.

Right sliding door harness replacement

My girlfriends mom has a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Limited that was converted with a foldout ramp on the right side. The door stopped working at some point and the harness in the track got caught on the door so they ripped all the wiring out with the track. I want to get the door and ramp functioning for them again. I was trying to find a new harness for the the right/passenger sliding door but I can only find the left sliding door harness on the various websites I looked. Does someone... Repair Transmission or Rebuild

I have a 2005 Dakota SLT Automatic 3.7 L 4 X 4 with about 146,000 miles. The trans is 42RLE The I bought about 3 months ago and everything was OK and then there was a "hard shift" or "clunk" at 15 mph when shifting from 1st to 2nd. I decided to take it to a trans place and they examined it and said it was "possibly" a shift solenoid or some spring. The estimate was approx $800. I said ok but they called back and said as they got into it they found some metal clipping in the pan and... Repair Transmission or Rebuild

Good day, New to this forum. I am looking for help to resolve an issue with my wipers. The truck's wipers were not working when I got it, it also did not come with a wiper switch. I cannot find one anywhere, even online. I changed the motor. These wipers originally came with a delay switch. I did find a 82 wiper switch without delay. But still not working with it, although the washer fluid does work with that switch. The pins all line up right to connect it, but maybe the wiring was switch... 1984 D150 wiper issue

P/U Bed, Hard Cover, Pistons Leaking....

Hello, I have a 2003 DODGE DAKOTA SLT / AWD / 8 CYL. / 4.7 LT / QUAD CAB.
I have a Tonneau Hard Cover, bed cover with two inside uplift pistons/shocks. One is starting to leak fluid! I need to replace both. At this point, I don't know what the Replacement Part number are for these two.
*Can you please tell me if these pistons are a Standard size/length?
*If not, how would I determine what size I need?
*Finally, are these Hard to replace?
