Emergency Brake Light On

Hi Recently my emergency brake light has been going l on periodically. What's looks to be l happening is the emergency brake is dropping down half an inch or so causing the light to go in. If I just tap up the emergency brake the light goes off. Is there an adjustment to ensure that the brake is up? Thanks Alex Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
