How to electric tailgate lock?

Hi My truck came without a tailgate lock. I've installed a stand-alone one I found on Amazon but obviously it does not work with my key fob. It works for now, but what I would really want is when I use my key fob to lock my passenger doors the tailgate locks as well. So, did the 2006 RAM every come with a factory tailgate lock?
