Speedster design and construction is well underway. Images of physical fabrication and digital design processes are shown below.
The speedster bodies have been scanned at high resolution so that the chassis design and engine position can be designed in CAD.
All key components were also scanned and modelled in CAD. The Speedster rims, brake calipers engine and transaxle were all modelled from scan data.
Determination of the right height is both a physical and digital process.
With the wheel positions and preliminary suspension designs complete the chassis design can continue.
