I briefly owned a Mini-Cooper – not an “S”-in 1972. It had been thrashed within an inch of it’s life and the front had suffered from an impact, but it was still a hoot to drive. I was unable to get parts to rebuild the calipers and swapped it for a Greenbrier van. Ah, the fun and games of youth.
