Bought a 1986 & 1/2 hard body [called “lard body” by some] . Needed the V6 to pull the trailer with Brit car on it. Had a 1979 Toyota 4 fwd that was painted bright yellow. My wife, the artist, changed the lettering on the tail gate from Toyota to Tonka. It was cute, but only had 4 cylinders. Biggest problem with the Nissan was when it hit a bump in a Corner, it would try to skitter off the road. New pair of shocks helped that. Bought a new V6 Tacoma in 1999, had it till last year when I bought a 2018 Tacoma. I wanted the TRD package and lucky it was the only Tacoma with a 6 speed. I expect this to be the last truck I ever buy.
