Conditions for Setting the DTC

P06AC - Condition 1

* Vehicle speed is greater than 8 km/h (5 mph) for 5 minutes.

* TCC slip speed is greater than 150 RPM for 5 minutes.

* The TCM power up temperature is between -40 and +150锟斤拷C (-40 and +302锟斤拷F).

* The TCM power up temperature has changed by less than 2锟斤拷C (3.6锟斤拷F) in 100 seconds.

* The transmission fluid temperature (TFT) is 70锟斤拷C (158锟斤拷F) or greater.

* The TFT has increased by 55锟斤拷C (99锟斤拷F) since startup.

Condition 2

* Vehicle speed is 8 km/h (5 mph) or greater for 300 seconds cumulative.

* TCC slip speed is greater than 120 RPM for 300 seconds cumulative.

* The TCM temperature sensor is between 120-150锟斤拷C (248-302锟斤拷F).

* The TCM power up temperature has changed by less than 2锟斤拷C (3.6锟斤拷F) in 2 minutes.

* The TFT is 70锟斤拷C (158锟斤拷F) or greater.

* The TFT has increased by 55锟斤拷C (99锟斤拷F) since startup.

Condition 3

The TCM power up temperature changes by 20锟斤拷C (36锟斤拷F) or greater 5 times over 7 seconds.

P06AD

* The TCM power up temperature is -59锟斤拷C (-74锟斤拷F) or less for 13 seconds or greater.

* The TFT is 140锟斤拷C (284锟斤拷F) or greater for 60 seconds or more.

P06AE

The TCM power up temperature is 164锟斤拷C (327锟斤拷F) or greater for 10 seconds or more.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

* DTCs P06AC, P06AD, and P06AE are Type C DTCs.

* The TCM allows the vehicle to operate in transmission protection mode.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

DTCs P06AC, P06AD, and P06AE are Type C DTCs.

Diagnostic Aids

During a road test, the TCM Power-Up temperature should steadily increase to a normal operating temperature, and then stabilize.
