My dome light will not turn on. I took the cover off and took everything out wires hanging down and changed the bulb and light came on. Pushed door button in and it shuts off. Sweet all good.... as soon as I put the bracket back in and it makes contact to metal the light come back on. Could it be as simple as the socket itself is bad. And it works find when it is not attached to the frame. And as soon as it does it hooks to ground? Just wondering if it is that simple or if something else...
