Just had my 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan stuck in R / D. I used the release button to unlock the shifter. If I moved it to park it kept showing R and if I moved to neutral or would jump to D.
The way I got it to start is I removed the cap for the transmission dipatick. Once I did that it showed in park and it started.
Maybe the fluid is low I will check and report back.
Once I drove it around its getting stuck again unless I remove the dipstick cap.
