Hi everyone, I have an 03 1500 with the 5.7. Truck was a factory custom conversion from RCX. Great truck but in the past 18 mths I've had intermittent overheating problems. Had 1st mechanic check it out and he said thermostat and cap...replaced seemed fine for several mths then overheating issues again 6 mths later .2nd mechanic said water pump was bad. Replaced just to have it continue overheating, turned out it was fan clutch... ran great for a while (5-6mths) then started again. 3rd time...
