Recently our 2010 Grand Caravan liftgate started bouncing when opening after pushing the button on the overhead console. It's smooth for about the first half but then bounces or jerks until it's open. It opens fully and stays up when done. Opening manually works smoothly. It must be closed manually since pressing either the front or rear button does nothing. I've disconnected the arm between the motor and the liftgate with no change.
