I just purchased a 2001 Ram with a 5.9 magnum. I am wanting to either rebuild the magnum, convert to carburetor for simplicity, and install in my 1990 Ram W150. Or, rebuild the factory 5.2 in my 90 Ram and convert it to carburetor. What do you guys think is the best rout. I know the Magnum has some advantages but I understand they have issues with the heads cracking.
