Carb problem/Fuel problem?

ive a 1980 d150 with the slant 6 single barrely holley, rebuilt the carb and got the truck running, but it boggs when i acc fast(at idle or while moving), if i slowly acc its fine, if i hold the top choke flap to about 80% closed it revs fine etc etc, ive tried adjusting the mixture screws and no change to the issue, im curious is there a way to tell if its low fuel pressure or clogged port in carb? if fuel preassure how much should the mechanical fuel pump be pushing? i plan to get inline...
