I had an occasional check engine light (P0442) pop up over the last few weeks, and after a new gas cap, and then a few you-tube videos I found the issue. The small hose attached to the canister had a split in it where it bends. Jury-rigged a fix out of a couple of pieces of fuel line hose and so-far so-good. Allegedly a very common problem.
