My 2011 Ram 3500 4WD Shifting Issues

My 2011 4WD 3500 Dodge Ram 6.7 Diesel just started having transmission/shifting issues. When I take off it doesn't want to shift into 2nd gear and when it does it shifts really hard. Also, it won't shift into overdrive when I'm driving on freeway all the sudden. Any ideas? I'm praying it's just sensor or something smaller and not needing a whole new transmission.
