Rochester Quadrajet Question- manual versus auto identification on carb and does it matter?

I was looking at the identification numbers of my carb because I was thinking of buying a re-manufactured replacement (i suspect mine has a warped air horn). My truck is a 1987 dodge d350. The carb numbers are 17087245. All the numbers check out as far as being the right carb for my truck except the last number 5 which identifies it as being for a standard transmission.
