02' ram 1500 5.9L Lifters?

Hey all, I discovered my engine was a 5.9L vs a 4.7L but thats irrelevant now... I have what I THINK is lifters but would love to hear possibilities and opinions for other issues, When starting it sounds like its dry. bad rat rat rat for maybe a second then goes away, once the engine is fully warmed up and hot (usually highway miles at 60mph) when I let OFF the gas pedal I get a loud ticking that matches the RPMs of the engine but ONLY when I let off the gas. my limited knowledge of... 02' ram 1500 5.9L Lifters?
