rekeying

Has anyone here had a door lock re-keyed on a '70s Dodge truck? When I got this '78 Power Wagon it had one key for the ignition and the passenger door and a different key for the driver's door (with a spare key and lock in the console that matches the driver's door lock and key). I pulled the lock from the driver's door and took it to the local lock shop, that have always been able to do whatever I needed. They said they didn't have the kit with the correct pieces to do a Chrysler product... rekeying
