Driveshaft fell off

So I've got a 2001 Dodge ram V8 5.2 l 4x.. I'm driving down the road doing 60 miles an hour just came out of a sharp curve and my drive shaft completely fell off there was no warning ..no nothing.. my tires locked up and that was that. had I been in the middle of the curve that truck would have flipped. no doubt in my mind! I went screeching to a stop and my 97 lb dog flew so fast she broke off the ashtray and the cup holder. I thought that because of the 4x4 I could put it in 2h but the... Driveshaft fell off
