Hello,
I have a 1988 dodge ram 250 road trek 318 engine. My question: Does that year ram have a ballast resistor and if yes where is it located. I did all the usual -changed wires, plugs, coils[2], starter relay, Auto shutdown relay, distributor cap still no spark from the coil. Cranks real good, lots of gas getting to the carb. When I say no spark I mean I removed the coil wire and held it against the motor while I cranked the engine, looking for a blue spark- nothing-. I did some research...
Cranks but no spark, no go
