Front axle issues

So I took my 2017 Ram 1500 into my dealership for a bad left front wheel bearing which they confirmed, but they are telling me the right axle has backed out of the differential and allowed moisture to get inside causing rust. I have a extended warranty that covers drivetrain, but they are declining the repair to replace the diff and axle due to the cause of rust. Rust is the result, not the cause.
