Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector of the yaw rate sensor.
2. Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the module voltage circuit and ground.
瀚慖f the test lamp does not illuminate, test the circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the
EBCM.
3. Ignition OFF, test for less than 5 ohms between the module ground circuits and ground.
瀚慖f greater than the specified value, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the EBCM.
4. If all circuits test normal, replace the yaw rate sensor.

Circuit/System Description
Modules connected to the CAN bus serial data circuits monitor for serial data communications during normal vehicle operation. Operating
information and commands are exchanged among the modules. The modules have prerecorded information about what messages are needed to be
exchanged on the serial data circuits. The messages are supervised and also, some periodic messages are used by the receiver module as an
availability indication of the transmitter module. Each message contains the identification number of the transmitter module.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Verify that DTC U1500 31 is not set,
瀚慖f the DTC is set, replace the appropriate window motor.
2. Verify that DTC U1511 is not set in the BCM.
瀚慖f DTC U1511 is set in the BCM, perform the Compass Malfunction Test.
3. Perform the Window Malfunction Test.
Circuit/System Testing
Compass Malfunction Test
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the electronic compass module.
2. Ignition OFF, test for less than 5.0 ohm between the ground circuit terminal 2 and ground.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
3. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the ignition circuit terminal 1 and ground.
瀚慖f the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ignition circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
4. Test for 6.0-7.0 V between the LIN Bus circuit terminal 3 and ground.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the LIN Bus circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
瀚慖f less than the specified range, test the LIN Bus circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace
the BCM.
5. If all circuits test normal, replace the electronic compass module.
Window Malfunction Test
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate window motor.
2. Ignition OFF, test for less than 2.0 ohm between the ground circuit terminal 4 and ground.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
3. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal 3 and ground.
瀚慖f the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
4. Test for 6.0-7.0 V between the LIN circuit terminal 5 and ground.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the LIN circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the door module.
瀚慖f less than the specified range, test the LIN circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the
door module.
5. If all circuits test normal, replace the window motor.
Repair Instructions
Note: Each window regulator motor or front window and door lock switch, if replaced needs to be setup for proper operation.

Circuit/System Testing
Note: Each control module may need to be disconnected to isolate a circuit fault. Use the schematic to identify the following:
* Control modules the vehicle is equipped with
* Powertrain High Speed GMLAN serial data circuit terminating resistors
* Control module locations on the Powertrain High Speed GMLAN serial data circuits
* Each control module's Powertrain High Speed GMLAN serial data circuit terminals
1. Attempt to communicate with all control modules on the Powertrain High Speed GMLAN serial data circuit, refer to. Communications
should not be available with two or more control modules on the Powertrain High Speed GMLAN serial data circuit.
瀚慖f only one control module is not communicating, diagnose that control module only; refer to.
2. Disconnect the scan tool from the DLC. The following tests will be done at the DLC connector.
3. Ignition ON, test for less than 4.5 V between the serial data circuits listed below and ground:
* Terminal 3
* Terminal 11
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the serial data circuit for a short to voltage; refer to Testing the Serial Data Circuits for a Short to
Voltage.
4. Ignition OFF for 60 seconds, test for greater than 100 ohm between the serial data circuit listed below and ground:
* Terminal 3
* Terminal 11
瀚慖f not the specified value, test the serial data circuit for a short to ground; refer to Testing the Serial Data Circuits for a Short to ground.
5. Test for 50-70 ohm between the serial data circuit terminal 3 and terminal 11.
瀚慖f less than 35 ohm, test for a short between the serial data circuits; refer to Testing the Serial Data Circuits for a Short between the
Circuits.
瀚慖f 35-50 ohm there may be a third terminating resistor between the serial data circuits. This can happen if the incorrect control module is
installed. Some control modules are available with and without the terminating resistors installed to reduce the need of terminating
resistors in the wiring harness.
瀚慖f greater than 70 ohm but less than infinite, test the serial data circuit for an open/high resistance; refer to Testing the Serial Data Circuits
for an Open/High Resistance.
瀚慖f infinite, test the serial data circuits between the DLC and the first connection to the serial data circuit for an open/high resistance.
Testing the Serial Data Circuits for a Short to Voltage
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors with the Powertrain High Speed GMLAN serial data circuits at an easily accessible control
module.
2. Ignition ON, test for greater than 4.5 V between each serial data circuit at the control module connector that was just disconnected and
ground. Verify that one or more serial data circuits are greater than 4.5 V.
瀚慖f all serial data circuits are less than the specified range, replace the control module that was disconnected.
3. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors with the Powertrain High Speed GMLAN serial data circuits at another control module, in
the direction of the circuit shorted to voltage.
4. Ignition ON, test for greater than 4.5 V between the serial data circuits at the control module connector that was just disconnected and
ground. Verify that one or more serial data circuits are greater than 4.5 V.
瀚慖f all serial data circuits are less than the specified range, replace the control module that was just disconnected.
5. Repeat step 3 until one of the follow conditions are isolated:
* A short to voltage on the serial data circuit between 2 control modules
* A short to voltage on the serial data circuit between a control module and a terminating resistor.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Operate the vehicle in 2nd gear long enough to ensure at least a 3掳C (5掳F) rise in TCM temperature.
2. Operate the vehicle in drive range and ensure TCC is commanded ON for 1 minute. Verify with a scan tool the following test status
parameters display OK:
* TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Performance Test Status
* TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
* TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status
3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the
conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Circuit/System Testing
Note: You must perform the Circuit/System Verification first.
1. Ignition OFF, remove the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly. Refer to Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly
Replacement (See: Powertrain Management/Transmission Control Systems/Actuators and Solenoids - Transmission and
Drivetrain/Actuators and Solenoids - A/T/Shift Solenoid/Service and Repair).
2. Perform the Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/6L45/6L50/6L80/6L90 - Automatic
Transmission/Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection).
3. Place the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly on a clean work surface near the transmission assembly.
4. Connect DT-47825-10 - jumper harness between the vehicle wire harness electrical connector, and the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly
electrical connector.
5. Ignition ON, verify with a scan tool the following test status parameters display OK:
* TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Performance Test Status
* TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
* TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status
瀚慖f any test status parameter displays Fault or Malfunction, replace the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly.

Circuit/System Testing
Note: You must perform the Circuit/System Verification first.
1. Ignition OFF, remove the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly. Refer to Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly
Replacement (See: Powertrain Management/Transmission Control Systems/Actuators and Solenoids - Transmission and
Drivetrain/Actuators and Solenoids - A/T/Shift Solenoid/Service and Repair).
2. Perform the Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/6L45/6L50/6L80/6L90 - Automatic
Transmission/Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection).
3. Place the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly on a clean work surface near the transmission assembly.
4. Connect DT-47825-10 - jumper harness between the vehicle wire harness electrical connector, and the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly
electrical connector.
5. Ignition ON, verify with a scan tool the following test status parameters display OK:
* Line Pressure Control Solenoid Performance Test Status
* Line Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
* Line Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit Low Voltage Test
瀚慖f any test status parameter displays Fault or Malfunction, replace the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Operate the vehicle at 16-32 km/h (10-20 mph), observe the scan tool Transmission OSS parameter. The reading should be greater than 150
RPM and not drop out.
2. Observe the scan tool OSS Supply Voltage parameter. The reading should display OK.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition ON, test for 8.3-9.3 V between the automatic transmission output shaft speed sensor ignition circuit terminal A and ground.
瀚慖f less than the specified range, test the ignition circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace
the control solenoid valve assembly.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the ignition circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the control solenoid
valve assembly.
2. Ignition Off, connect the red lead of J 38522 to the signal circuit terminal B and the black lead to the ignition circuit terminal A.
3. Adjust the J 38522 to 8 V, the Frequency to 120 Hz and the Percent Duty Cycle to 50 percent.
4. Ignition ON, verify the scan tool Transmission OSS parameter is between 100-400 RPM.
瀚慖f not within the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage short to ground open/high resistance. If the circuit tests
normal, replace the control solenoid valve assembly.
5. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the B14A Automatic Transmission Output Shaft Speed Sensor.

3. Retest for DTC P279D.

1. Observe the 4WD Signal in the ECM Data List. The 4WD signal should display Enabled when you shift into 4WD and Disabled when you
shift into 2WD.
瀚慖f the scan tool display does not match the transfer case range switch state, repair the transfer case system refer to Diagnostic Starting

瀚慖f the scan tool matches the transfer case range switch state, continue with testing.
2. Program the HPCM with the latest software version and retest for DTCs.

Circuit/System Verification
Test for the correct operation of the IMS. Refer to Transmission Internal Mode Switch Logic (See: Specifications/Mechanical
Specifications/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/System Specifications/2ML70 - Automatic Transmission/Transmission Internal Mode Switch
Logic).
If the IMS operation matches the IMS logic table, the system if functioning normally.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Disconnect the IMS harness connector at the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly. Ignition ON. The scan tool IMS A/B/C/P
parameter should display HI for all 4 signal circuits.
瀚慖f a signal circuit displays LOW, replace the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly.
2. Connect a 3-amp fused jumper wire between each transmission range signal circuit at the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly
and ground. With a scan tool, ensure that each signal circuit displays LOW when connected to ground.
瀚慖f a signal circuit remains HI when connected to ground, replace the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly.
3. Connect the IMS harness connector to the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly. Disconnect the IMS connector. The scan tool
IMS A/B/C/P parameter should display HI for all 4 signal circuits.
瀚慖f a signal circuit displays LOW, replace the IMS jumper harness.
4. Connect a 3-amp fused jumper wire between each transmission range signal circuit at the IMS connector harness and ground. With a scan
tool, ensure that each signal circuit displays LOW when connected to ground.
瀚慖f a signal circuit remains HI when connected to ground, replace the IMS harness.
瀚慖f a signal circuit other than the circuit being grounded displays LOW, replace the IMS harness.
瀚慖f all circuits test normal, replace the IMS.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Verify that DTCs P0721, P0722, P0723, P0966, P0967, P0969, P0970, P0971, P0973, P0974, P0976, P0977, P2720, P2721, P2728, P2729,
or P2730 are not set.
瀚慖f any of the DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle (See: Diagnostic Trouble Code
Descriptions/Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle).
2. Operate the vehicle at 16-32 km/h (10-20 mph) while observing the Transmission Data OSS Direction parameter on the scan tool. The OSS
Direction parameter should match vehicle direction.
瀚慖f the OSS parameter corresponds with the vehicle direction and the DTC is set in the hybrid powertrain control module and not the
transmission control module, replace the hybrid powertrain control module.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the B14A automatic transmission output shaft speed sensor. Inspect the automatic
transmission output shaft speed sensor, harness, and connector pins for metallic debris and the hybrid direct, 2-3-4 clutch housing assembly
machined teeth for damage or misalignment. Even one bent or misaligned tooth, and or contact with the automatic transmission output shaft
speed sensor, may cause this DTC to set. Proper torque of 9-13 Nm (80-115 lb in) to the automatic transmission output shaft speed sensor
mounting bolt is critical to proper output speed sensor operation. The hybrid system is very sensitive to the OSS signal for overall operation.
瀚慖f damage is observed, replace the damaged component.
2. Ignition ON, test for 8.3-9.3 V between the OSS supply voltage circuit terminal A and ground.
瀚慖f less than the specified range, test the OSS supply voltage circuit for an open/high resistance or a short to ground. If the circuit tests
normal, replace the control solenoid valve assembly.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the OSS supply voltage circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the control
solenoid valve assembly.
3. Ignition Off, connect the red lead of J 38522 - variable signal generator to the OSS signal circuit terminal B and the black lead to the OSS
supply voltage circuit terminal A.
4. Adjust the J 38522 - variable signal generator Signal to 8V, the Frequency to 120 and the Percent Duty Cycle to 50.
5. Ignition ON, verify the Transmission OSS parameter is between 100-400 RPM.
瀚慖f the Transmission OSS parameter is not within the specified range, test the Transmission OSS signal circuit for an open/high resistance,
sort to ground, or a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the control solenoid valve assembly.
瀚慖f the Transmission OSS parameter is within the specified range, replace the B14A automatic transmission output shaft speed sensor.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Ignition ON, command the EVAP purge solenoid to 50 percent with a scan tool. You should hear an audible click.
2. Engine operating, observe the scan tool EVAP Purge Solenoid Circuit Test Status parameters. Verify the parameters display OK or Not Run.
3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the
conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the Q12 EVAP purge solenoid.
2. Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the ignition voltage circuit terminal 1 and ground.
瀚慖f the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ignition voltage circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests
normal and the ignition voltage circuit fuse is open, test all components connected to the ignition voltage circuit and replace as necessary.
3. Connect a test lamp between the control circuit terminal 2 and the ignition voltage circuit terminal 1.
Note: The control circuit for the EVAP purge solenoid is pulled-up to voltage within the ECM, 2.6-4.6 V on the control circuit is normal.
4. Command the EVAP purge solenoid to 50 percent and then to 0 percent with a scan tool. The test lamp should illuminate or flash and then go
OFF.
瀚慖f the test lamp is always ON, test the control circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K20 ECM.
瀚慖f the test lamp is always OFF, test the control circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace
the K20 ECM.
5. Test for 2.6-4.6 V between the control circuit terminal 2 and the ECM housing.
瀚慖f the voltage is not within the specified range, replace the K20 ECM.
6. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the Q12 EVAP purge solenoid.
Component Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the EVAP purge solenoid. Test for 15-20 ohm between the terminals of the EVAP purge
solenoid.
瀚慖f not within the specified range, replace the Q12 EVAP purge solenoid.
2. Measure the resistance between each terminal of the EVAP purge solenoid and the EVAP purge solenoid housing. The DMM should display
O.L.
瀚慖f less than the specified value, replace the Q12 EVAP purge solenoid.

3. Place the control solenoid valve assembly on a clean work surface near the transmission assembly.
4. Connect DT-47825-20 - jumper harness between the vehicle wire harness electrical connector, and the control solenoid valve assembly
electrical connector.
5. Ignition ON, verify with a scan tool the following test status parameters display OK:
* Line PC Sol. Perf. Test Status
* Line PC Sol. Ckt. High Voltage Test Status
* Line PC Sol. Ckt. Low Voltage Test Status
瀚慖f any test status parameter displays Fault or Malfunction, replace the control solenoid valve assembly.

programming system (SPS).

Circuit/System Verification
Note: The battery must be able to maintain a charge during this procedure. It is recommended that a charger/maintainer or equivalent be used to
maintain proper battery voltage during this procedure.
1. Ignition ON, engine OFF, using a scan tool access the EBCM, Module Setup screen, and perform the EBCM Relearn. The relearn procedure
will verify valve and pressure sensor calibrations are correct.
Note: To ensure the complete brake modulator and high pressure accumulator pressure relief procedure is allowed to occur; the brake
controller must see one brake pedal apply with the engine running followed by a proper shutdown without applying the brake pedal.
2. Transmission in PARK, engine running, apply and release the brake pedal.
Note: The ignition must transition to the OFF position without pausing at ACCESSORY and without applying the brake pedal. This ensures
that the brake modulator and high pressure accumulator relief occurs. This process will take approximately 1-2 minutes.
3. Ignition OFF, key removed from the ignition, wait 2 minutes.
Note: The ignition must remain in the ON position with the engine OFF during the following steps.
4. Ignition ON, brake pedal released, verify the following EBCM scan tool parameters are within the specified values:
* BMC Prim. Piston Pos. Sen. 5 V Reference Position - Between 4.75-5.25 V
* BMC Primary Piston Position Sensor A - Between 0.4-0.8 V
* BMC Primary Piston Position Sensor B - Between 4.2-4.6 V
瀚慖f any of the parameters are not within the specified range, refer to Circuit/System Testing.
5. Brakes not applied, verify the following EBCM scan tool parameters are within the specified range:
* Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Input - Less than 100 kPa (15 psi)
* Rear Brake Pressure Sensor - Less than 100 kPa (15 psi)
* Brake Pressure Sensor Input - Less than 100 kPa (15 psi)
* Accum. Pressure Sensor - Less than 800 kPa (116 psi)
瀚慖f any of the parameters are not within the specified range, replace the brake pressure modulator valve.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Perform a hydraulic check, refer to Brake Hydraulic and Assist System Diagnosis (Two-mode Hybrid) (See: Brakes and Traction
Control/Hydraulic System/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Brake Hydraulic and Assist System Diagnosis
(Two-mode Hybrid)).
2. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the brake master cylinder piston position sensor.
3. Ignition OFF, test for less than 5 ohm between the low reference circuit terminal 4 and ground.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the low reference circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the EBCM.
4. Ignition ON, test for 4.8-5.2 V between the 5 V reference circuit terminal 2 and ground.
瀚慖f less than the specified range, test the 5 V reference circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal,
replace the EBCM.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the 5 V reference circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the EBCM.
5. Verify the scan tool BMC Primary Piston Position Sensor A parameter is less than 1 V.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit terminal 3 for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the EBCM.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Verify that DTC B009F 00, B009F 4A, or B009F 73 is not set.
瀚慖f the DTC is set, program the serial data gateway module. If the DTC resets, replace the serial data gateway module.
2. Verify the serial data gateway module is programmed with the correct software calibration.
瀚慖f the correct software is not installed, program the serial data gateway module.
3. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Hybrid Crash Sensor 1 parameter. The reading should be No Crash.
瀚慖f not No Crash, refer to Circuit/System Testing.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the high voltage circuit impact detector sensor.
2. Ignition OFF and scan tool disconnected, open and close the driver door, and wait 1 minute. Test for less than 5 ohm between the low
reference circuit terminal 2 and ground.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the low reference circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the serial
data gateway module.
Note: The serial data gateway module will attempt to communicate with the high voltage circuit impact detector sensor for 5 seconds
immediately after the ignition is turned ON. After 5 seconds the signal circuit will be inactive.
Note: The DMM should not be set on the Auto Range scale. The Auto Range will give erratic test results.
3. Connect a DMM, set on a manual setting that can read 12 V with the MIN/MAX function enabled, between the signal circuit terminal 1 and
ground.
4. Ignition ON, wait 10 seconds, The DMM reading should be less than 1.0 V.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the serial data gateway module.
5. Verify the DMM MAX reading is greater than 6.0 V.
瀚慖f less than the specified range, test the circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the
serial data gateway module.
6. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the high voltage circuit impact detector sensor.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Engine at operating temperature, all accessories OFF. Engine speed greater than 2,000 RPM, observe the appropriate scan tool knock sensor
signal voltage parameter. The voltage should be greater than 4.0 V.
2. Engine idling, move the related harnesses and connectors for the knock sensor circuits while observing the scan tool knock sensor signal
voltage parameters. The voltage should remain steady with no abrupt changes.
3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the
conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate B68 knock sensor.
Note: If the voltage is not within the specified range on either circuit, test for a wire to wire short, short to ground, or short to voltage
between the knock sensor circuits.
2. Ignition ON, test for 2-3 V between the signal circuit terminal A or 1 and ground.
瀚慖f less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuits/connections test
normal, replace the K20 ECM.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuits/connections test normal, replace the K20
ECM.
3. Test for 2-3 V between the low reference circuit terminal B or 2 and ground.
瀚慖f less than the specified range, test the low reference circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuits/connections
test normal, replace the K20 ECM.
瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the low reference circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuits/connections test normal, replace the
K20 ECM.
4. If all circuits/connections test normal, test or replace the appropriate B68 knock sensor.
