Daniel, are you winding us up? Except for the Aussie versions all MkI Minis had sliders, to include the “S”. Wind-ups arrived with the MkIII along with inside door hinges. The photo at delivery shows that it is indeed a Cooper S. Grille-wise’ the Morris had the slats curving downward whilst the Austin had them mounted horizontally making them appear thinner. The 850s featured a scalloped bright metal grille on the Austin and a stamped, painted version for the Moggy.
