Sensor problems…quite right…we bought new…a ’07 Toyota Matrix and a ’07 Buick LaCrosse (90 degree 3.8 liter V6) within a few months of each other. We still have the Buick with 156 K on it. We traded the Toyota in (with about 50K) on a 2015 Impala in early 2015. The Toyota plagued us with mostly sensor and other electronic issues. It wasn’t a bad car other than that, but the sensors and electronics drove us away from this car….and have made us think twice about ever getting another Toyota.
We are considering another vehicle soon. Thinking Honda/Nissan. Three others in our family have got new Nissans over the years….and so far touch wood…these have been good vehicles. But I know, you never know…and that’s why we get the manufacturer’s extended warranty.
