P0AAE and P0AB3
The hybrid battery pack air temperature sensor 1 or 2 is greater than 95掳C (203掳F).
P0AAD
The hybrid battery cooling fan is ON and the difference between sensor 1 and 2 is greater than 10掳C (50掳F) difference for 9 seconds.
P0AB2
The hybrid battery cooling fan is ON and the outlet air temperature is greater than maximum hybrid battery temperature value by 10掳C (50掳F) for 9
seconds.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
* DTCs P0AAD, P0AAE, P0AAF, P0AB2, P0AB3, and P0AB4 are type B DTCs.
* The drive motor generator battery sends a message to the hybrid powertrain control module to reduce the power by 50 percent.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
DTCs P0AAD, P0AAE, P0AAF, P0AB2, P0AB3, and P0AB4 are type B DTCs.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Verify that DTC P0A80, P0A81 or P0BBD is not set.

2. Ignition ON, using a scan tool, command the hybrid battery pack fan speed to 60 percent and let it run for 2 minutes.
3. Observe the scan tool hybrid battery air inlet and outlet temperature parameters. The readings should be between -39 and +95掳C (-38.2 and
+203掳F) with no greater than a 10掳C ( 50掳F) difference. Refer to Temperature Versus Resistance ().
