2010 Cadillac Truck SRX AWD V6-2.8L Turbo Page 1057

The ECM detects that the intake air temperature is warmer than 132掳C (270掳F) for greater than 4 s or a cumulative of 30 s.

P0113

The ECM detects that the intake air temperature is colder than -42掳C (-43.6掳F) and remains steady within 3掳C (5掳F) during a cumulative air flow of

greater than 999 grams. The scan tool is limited to -40掳C (-40掳F), so the diagnostic procedure uses -39掳C (-38掳F) to determine if there is an IAT

condition. The condition exists for greater than 4 s or a cumulative of 30 s.

P0114

The ECM detects that the IAT sensor signal is intermittent or has abruptly changed for period of time greater than 5 s.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTCs P0111, P0112, P0113, and P0114 are Type B DTCs.

Conditions for Clearing the MIL/DTC

DTCs P0111, P0112, P0113, and P0114 are Type B DTCs.

Diagnostic Aids

* If the vehicle has sat overnight, the IAT sensor and the ECT sensor values should be within 3掳C (5掳F).

* High resistance on the IAT sensor signal circuit could set a DTC.

Circuit/System Verification

1. Engine idling, DTC P0111, P0112, P0113, or P0114 should not set.

2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the

conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.

Circuit/System Testing

1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the B65 Intake Manifold Pressure and Air Temperature sensor.

2. Remove the fuse that supplies B+ to terminal 56 X2 of the ECM.

Caution: Do NOT use a test lamp to test the continuity of the circuit. Damage to the control module may occur due to excessive current
