1989 Dynasty 3.0 :
vehicle starts fine unless weather gets freezing cold.
Then, cranks like a charm , but no spark.
New ignition coil --result FAILED.
Took it to mechanic who R/R Auto Shut Down relay and distributor.
Result --> FAILED.
Trying to diagnose lack of sparking.
I suspect faulty intermittent ground in ignition circuit.
Where to look for the grounds?
I read that there is a ground somewhere in rear of engine?? Where?
Also, suspect that the 1989 SMEC in the engine bay might have an...
