I was wondering how I could tell if the Engine, Transmission, Front and/or Rear differentials on my truck are OEM. Ive heard that you should have a stamp on the engine block? transmission housing? And there should also be some sort of stamp on the front and rear differentials that are matching to my Vin# ? Is this accurate? Also Would there be basic options for my truck? Like steel vs Aluminum? High performance vs Basic? How do I tell whats on my truck? I'm new to the whole parts thing.
