Hemi MDS - lazy solenoid - disable MDS to pass state inspection

Hi guys, I have 2008 Durango with Hemi-MDS ... One of the MDS solenoids is lazy and will set a code and turn on the check engine light - sometimes in a couple miles, sometimes after a couple days. Even with the light on, the MDS functions fine and the truck gets 22 mpg with no troubles. My problem is that I recently moved back to Texas and the CEL is an automatic fail on state inspection.
