Crankshaft position sensor/timing

2009 dodge avenger, 2.4l Had a code to replace the crankshaft sensor. Only one code. Replaced it and now I have 9 additional codes (misfires, tcm, learning on the cps) Tried the disconnecting cables for over an hour and some fixes, but now it just seems like the computer isn't liking it and the timing seems really out of whack. Is there a way to get the computer to accept it without having to have a shop do it with their computer?
