I'm having trouble with my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 seeming to have a transmission problem. When I start the engine it sounds ok but when I try shifting into Drive it starts making a grinding noise and the truck doesn't want to move. When that first started to happen I started to reach down and started to shift the 4wheel shifting arm and if I get it into the right place the truck will start moving but the whole time I'm hearing a grinding noise.
