Hello, I'm new here, and I really hope I'm posting this question correctly. My 2002 Ram 1500 4x4, has been plagued with rear end problems due to my use of it as a hard working company truck. Recently I came across A nearly new complete rear end out of what i was told a 2004 ram 1500 4x4. Turns out it was a 2wd rear end. when i checked the specs, and did a comparison, I found this info; The 2wd is a 2.38 w/ 3.55 axle. Mine read 2.45 w/ 3.55 axle.
