318 issues

I have a 1986 W100 power wagon with a 318. I just converted it from the factory 2 barrel to a eldebrock rpm intake and a eldebrock 650 avs carb. I set the timing to where the truck idles at 750 to 800 rpm, but I'm having issues with it back firing when the engine is under load. Can anyone give me some advise?

2008 dodge magnum 3.5 Intermittent wont crank

I have replaced the ECM the TIPM the starter and the Wireless ignition node and my car still has an intermittent cranking issue. You turn the key and it clicks, or if it's in the mood it will start. I'm getting ready to put in a starter button! I can jump the starter relay to start it but it's getting old...now the car is throwing a P0513 wrong key code but it runs fine when started.

gauges and dash indicator lights go on and off intermitently

2005 dakota. gauges and dash indicator lights don't come on when running or off. Intermittently flash on and off while driving. OBD codes po888, p0462 and po562 showing up. 221000+ miles. battery checked at oreilys as good. my multi-meter shows 12.4v disconnected and 14.8v while running.

Where to buy spindle nut, retainer nut, wheel bearing cap for 4000lb 3500?

I'm trying to find the above parts for my 1999 B3500 with a 4000lb front axle. All of the parts I am able to find are for vans without the 4000lb front axle. Does anyone know where I can get the following for my van: Front spindle nut Front spindle retaining nut (crown looking lock nut thing) Front spindle washer (has the little tip that locks into the single channel) Wheel bearing dust cap Thanks for any leads!

Is there any reasonable way to improve the gas mileage? If not I can live with it. It starts on the first turn but 10 mpg and many times it won't pass inspection however my son tells me no omissions after 25 yrs.

Hello, my 2014 v6 Durango had a leaking oil filter housing so I bought the upgraded non-plastic housing and while I was in there I figured I'd change the spark plugs since I'm at 93k miles. When i was putting the lower intake manifold back on i accidently had the purge valve sensor connector line under the lower manifold so after i tightened the screws i cut the electrical line to the purge valve sensor connector. Hi, I`m having a lot of trouble trying to get my paint mixed . Back in the day all paints were lead based. So My color`s (Kiltie Green) code is no more. I `ve found many codes from old chip books for PPG, Nason, and Sherwin Williams but, all are old codes- nothing upgraded. Its a solid color and very dark. I do not have anything I can scan to create a new code or number. I`d like to just get a new single stage urethane mixed so I can move forward. I recently purchased a 1971B 200 sportsman, by and large it's in pretty good shape but I am noticing an issue with start up relating to when it's raining outside. The other day it was raining pretty hard and soon there after starting it with no problems. I parked somewhere and tried to turn it back on, and it would not. No spin no crank nothing. Well it finally threw a code which is the P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor. Has anybody else had this issue? I tried googling and I haven't seen anything on the 3rd Gen Durango V6.

Hello. What's the difference between the SE, the SE Plus, the GT and the SXT? I just cannot find a side by side comparison online. Heat and air Trouble codes

I have a 2910 Dodge Ram 2500 Lariat. I've scanned my truck and have these codes: B10AC, B109E, B1058. All are codes related to what's wrong with HVAC system, blend doors, control panel and recirc doors. I can't find any videos on how to repair. Need some assistance please.

I’m in need terrible… please someone help 05 Durango hesitation

I have really bad hesistation? Bad idle in reverse then when shift into drive it bogs down to basically stalling? If I try to hit the gas the check engine light flashes. I've already had fuel pump and spark plugs replaced. I'm at 1500$ already and I feel like Everytime I take it to the shop they think I'm crazy because they never find out what's wrong??? They keep guessing and nothing helps. Please guys anyone w any info would be appreciated

Hi all, First timer, here. The passenger-side heat control is stuck on full, even when turned all the way to cold. Driver's side is okay. My wife is beginning to complain. I've read in several places that the HVAC system can be reset, but can't find instructions for the 2012 model or any other gen. 5 with a dual-zone heater. I should also mention that this is a Canadian version of the 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan (if that makes a difference). Does anyone know how to do this? Control arm bushings

So, I ordered new control arm bushings for my 1986 D150 2wd. The camber bolt holds are too small. Can I use smaller camber bolts or do I need to find a different bushing? Also, I got the first bushings from oreillys, one box correct, one smaller diameter, same part number. Pulled another box from shelf, too small. Went across street to auto zone same thing too small. What gives?

Radio Issues

My boyfriends 2013 dodge ram 1500 has been having issues with radio (see attached photo) have had it to a dealer for an update already to this still periodically comes up we then have no access to anything on the touch screen. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you resolve it? Thanks

2014 5.7, 8 speed heat exchanger?

Hello, recently I replaced the water pump with a Mopar unit. I believe there to be a air lock in the trans heater. I didn't know about the bleeder on the water pump. As far as removing it so it would take the coolant. So I started the engine and waited for it to take some coolant. Threw a cooling performance code, went into limp mode but it eventually started taking coolant. Things went back to normal. Except the trans is real slow to come up to temp. No low beam on passenger side

New bulbs. Fuses are fine, wires at the plug looked dark/burned so I replaced the plug. Ive got high beams, marker lights and turn signals. I dont know a whole lot about wrenching or electricity. Gave it my best shot and im stumped. Im really hoping its not the tipm 06 1500 4.7

Friend Hydrolocked her 3.6 last night. pulled plugs and valve covers upper and lower intake. motor will only turn less than 90 degrees either direction and get a hard clunk from back of motor. Any thoughts on checking flexplate or starter or since the cams seem to be turning ok and valves from what i can tell are ok all 6 pistons are moving up and down with the crank bolt being wrenched back and forth the 90 degrees it will turn what makes sense as far as what broke?

Hello. She only had 87 thousand on her, just got her last Tuesday the 27th. No issues. Just a radio question. First. Would it be a single din or a double din to upgrade too. I just cannot figure out if I need a big ass screen or a normal old school tuner. The new terminology throws me sometimes.

First off. I don't know much about vehicles period. That being said . I'd like straight up answers with zero bs.. ok. I have a 00 ram Laramie 5.9l automatic 4x4. My rear end went out day after Thanksgiving. I need a new one. I'm pretty sure mine is a 355. Had a buddy suggest putting a ton rear end in to replace.
