2004 Hemi ignition wires, why?

I see it I get it and I am sure it has a thread or two... I have just one question, why? Is it like a second spark it the compression stroke or is it more like the 3.8L on my 02 TnC minivan where it is a second spark on the what, exhaust stroke? like to burn off unburnt fuel? I suppose I should look at the firing order to better understand what is going on... or a yourtube video Know any good EweTube vids that show the demonstration?
