I finally took my 1987 D-150 with the 318 out of storage after several years to fix up.
I had been trying to fix my temperature gauge for a while and could never find the temperature sensor (I finally located it behind the alternator).
While looking for it near the thermostat (which is leaking a ton, I'm fixing tomorrow) I found two cut wires. I traced the wires back to a connector, then to a big wire harness on the firewall. Maybe not so coincidentally, I found an empty threaded hole next...
