4. Ignition ON, monitor DTC Status. DTC P1B10 and P1B0F should have passed last test.

锟斤拷If DTC P0C4E or P0C4F sets, proceed to that diagnostic procedure.

锟斤拷If DTC P1B10 and P1B0F have passed, clear DTC Information. No further diagnosis is necessary.

锟斤拷If DTC P1B10 or P1B0F resets, program the PIM with the latest software version and recheck for DTCs. If the DTC resets after

programming or if the PIM already contains the latest software version, replace the applicable drive motor generator assembly.

DTC Descriptor

DTC P1B15

- Regenerative Braking Torque Request Circuit

Circuit/System Description

This diagnostic applies to internal microprocessor integrity conditions within the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM). The HPCM monitors

its ability to read and write to the memory. The HPCM processor monitors the data to verify that the indicated brake torque request calculation is

correct.

Conditions for Running the DTC

* The control module runs the program to detect an internal fault when the key is ON.

* Ignition voltage is 8-18V.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The control module has detected an internal malfunction.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

* DTC P1B15 is a Type A DTC.

* The HPCM commands the battery energy control module (BECM) to open the high voltage contactor relays.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC
