Before I install a larger transmission cooler, I figured that I'd toss out these symptoms to see if there was a simpler answer. I can pull a long incline in cold weather without the transmission slipping. In warm weather the transmission will start slipping on the same hill unless I turn the heater on to keep the coolant temperature close to the normal range.
