Voltage spike broke head lights.

Hello all, I have a high powered stereo in my 2011 grand caravan. I have a high output alt with external regulator that went bad and voltage spiked to about 18 volts. Now my high beams stay on and one head light when car is off and key fob is out. What could be the problem and what to do to get this fixed. Google search has not helped.
