Mark 3 Industries 1996 b2500 conv van

I just bought a Mark 3 Industries 1996 B2500 Ram Van 5.2 V8. Paid a thousand bucks for it. Hasn't run in 5 years. Replaced the alternator and belt. It won't start. Almost does, sounds like it wants to. Tank was empty so we put 3 fresh gallons in. I been pumping it but I don't smell gas. Could it be the fuel pump, lines carburetor etc.

46RE (518) to 727 swap parts issues

Please help!! I've been reading these forms for days!! I can send pics I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota R/T with a 5.9 magnum (360) engine that has had a 727 transmission installed. But they didn't finish the project and I'm trying to put together some else's mess.. there's a couple of things. I've tried to find all these parts the only place I've found is (SMR transmission) sells the whole conversion kit but not just trans mount. I'm reading and they say SMR sends the wrong stuff…so has me... 46RE (518) to 727 swap parts issues

1997 Ram 1500 5.2 misfire, rough idle

I've been putting together a 97 Ram for a guy I know.. The truck sat for roughly 6 years..Truck didn't run, traced it to a bad PCM, replaced that with one from FlagshipOne, spark plug wires were chewed so we replaced those along with cap,rotor and plugs (all cheapo parts store) finally got it running well and heard it sucking air from the lower intake, replaced the intake gasket along with the plenum gasket (didn't know at the time it was common and should be upgraded the the Hughes unit) ... 1997 Ram 1500 5.2 misfire, rough idle

06 Dakota fuse box isolation

Has anyone attempted to isolate your fuse box from vibrations when off road. Mine seems to loosen the battery cable. And as I hear there are a lot of problems with them I thought this might be a solution to future problems.

I have a solid TMPS light on the dash on my 2013 Durango. I know some cars when it flashes it the vehicle and others its the wheels sensors. Do I need the OG sensors or can I use the less expensive ones? Thanks for any help or advice you can give me.

Brake hoses for a lifted 98 Durango ??

Need some help please !! I have a 98 Durango with a 3'' Rancho lift kit on it. I've had this for 17 years now and has served me very well. I need new front brake hoses and the OEM replacements are 3" too short from the upper control arm bracket to the connector on the frame for the hard line. I bought this with the lift already installed and was told by the previous owner that it was a Rancho kit. However I can find no Rancho kit listed for the Durango's, did they discontinue these Kits ... Brake hoses for a lifted 98 Durango ??

Electrical Gremlins 2004 Dakota

I just bought a 2004 Dakota with only 60K miles on and it runs and drives like it just came off lease and feels like it's "new." That said, it's got something wrong with the electrical system that manifests itself in all kinds of crazy ways. Sometimes the passenger side window switch doesn't work. Parking brake cable parts

Not sure where this might fit, I have a 97 Dakota that had some of the brake cable parts pretty much rusted out. Had a cobbled together so it kinda worked. The rear end took a crap so picked up a parts truck. The rear end in the parts truck turned out to have the Sure Lock rear end. Got the rear end swapped out and cut out most of the park brake cable. The front piece the attaches the front cable to the frame was not to rusty so I used that but the adjuster part was rusted out. In searching... Parking brake cable parts

02 Grand 3.3 P0456 smoke test

So I've been dealing with this code back and forth for a few months now. Finally thought I was done with it because the IM finally went ready on Evap so got the nearly 2 month late inspection done. Well guess what came back on again. The Evap harness has already been replaced because no aftermarket 90's would last at the connection to the TB. Evap purge valve and vent solenoid have both been replaced and all the lines are secure. This morning I hooked a smoke machine up to the lower port... 02 Grand 3.3 P0456 smoke test

DIY ATF flush on '09 five speed

Can someone provide a good link for DIY ATF flush for my '09 Ram five speed? I have had success on other vehicles by draining the pan, replacing filter, refilling, disconnecting the cooler line (inlet or return?), and them pumping/replacing two quarts at a time. Looking at the cooler plumbing on my truck, I am a bit confused on the simplest and cleanest way to accomplish this. Thank you in advance.

Full Synthetic in 5.7?

I was told (by my Mazda service manager of all people) that full synthetic oil could be harmful to my '09 5.7. My truck has very low mileage (only 75k), and I have always changed my own oil (every nine months/6k miles on average). It has had nothing but Mobile One full synthetic 5W-20 since its first change. Someone please tell me that this guy doesn't have a clue about Mopar engines. Thanks much.

'81 B150 - intermittent shaking in park/neutral, under load

Hi everyone, I purchased an '81 B150 about 5 months ago (225cid /6, 3 speed automatic). Ever since I've owned it it's had this strange intermittent shake. When in park/neutral, it shakes for about 3 seconds, and stops for about 3 seconds then the cycle continues. Not noticeable in drive/reverse when stopped. When the engine is under load (like going up an incline at 40-50 mph), you start to really notice the shaking again, but the rate is much faster, more like 1 second shaking 1 second not... I had to punch accelerator to make it across traffic and when i did my throttle warning light came on, went home parked it went back out about 2 hours later the warning light was off, next morning I got in it drove to town came home truck sat for approximately 2 hours when i got back in my truck and it reved up to 4000 rpms backfiring smoke coming from motor and had no control over the accelerator the truck was taking off on its own when put in gear with rpms fluctuating up and down. New cam sensor throws P0340 Circuit code / Traction Control light

2009 5.7l Ram 230k miles. Has a random miss-fire under high load. I swapped out the crank and cam position sensors just to rule those out. With the new cam sensor it throws P0340 - circuit intermittent code and turns on the traction control light. When I swap the old cam sensor back in the codes and lights are cleared. I tried it with 2 new cam sensors of different brands and got the same result. I have a simple code reader and cleared the codes but they come right back with either of the... Transmission Fluid Leak

My '09 Dodge Ram, 5.7L, with 75k miles developed a transmission fluid leak on way home from FL. Lost about one quart before arriving home. There is fluid all along the top of the cooler and splattered all in the engine bay, but seems to be more prominent on passenger side (side where the plumbing connects to the cooler). Even found fluid sprayed down the passenger side fender. Anyhow, I know it is impossible to diagnose a leak without seeing it, but just curious if this is a prominent... Transmission Fluid Leak

Heat selector cable

The cable that allows you to select how warm or cold you want to be in messes up in my 3500 van. I tried to order a new one from Mopar but what they sent was two cables, what I have now is only one. Of course, the PO may have tried to fix it also with the wrong part. I have tried to find a parts diagram to get the right part number to order a replacement but can't find one. All help would be appreciated
