Hi I was wondering if I can put a 545rfe from a 2003 or 2004 dakota transmission in my 2001 dakota 4.7 with a 45rfe is it just plug and play after installing and plug everything back in. 94' 1500 Intermediate steeling shaft frozen

Finally got around to installing the RockSolid steering column kit and discovered the steering shaft is frozen. Have both the column and gear box side u-joint bolts loose. Could not disconnect the column side but the gearbox side is moving. Have moved it about 1/4" and the connection on the column has moved up about 1/4" inch. So the shaft is frozen. Did a search and could not find any fix for a frozen steering shaft other than replacement. I have no problem replacing it but noticed all... 94' 1500 Intermediate steeling shaft frozen

No crank no start

Ok, so I'm stumped. I have a 1996 Dodge 1500, 5.2L engine. I have a no crank no start problem. I turn key on and all the lights come on, but nothing when trying to start it. I have replaced; battery, battery cables, ignition switch, ignition cylinder, pcm, and the nuetral safety switch. I have checked relays, fuses, grounds, and starter/solenoid cables, and actually have replaced those as well. Please help, I'm lost at this point!

Front blinker light will not blink.

Hey everyone or anyone, I have a 2005 1500 slt and the front tail lamp will light up with parking lamps on, but will not blink. It worked faintly when i bought the truck, but burned the bulb out. Replaced the bulb and now the problem of not blinking. I replaced the multifuction lever and the front control module(from junkyard), and there is no difference, relay swapped too, no difference, swapped socket and bulb with the right side, no difference. Schematics show 2 wires and a ground... Front blinker light will not blink.

Hello, I have a 1988 dodge ram 250 road trek 318 engine. My question: Does that year ram have a ballast resistor and if yes where is it located. I did all the usual -changed wires, plugs, coils[2], starter relay, Auto shutdown relay, distributor cap still no spark from the coil. Cranks real good, lots of gas getting to the carb. When I say no spark I mean I removed the coil wire and held it against the motor while I cranked the engine, looking for a blue spark- nothing-. I did some research... Cranks but no spark, no go

Ram 2500 v10

I have a 95 2500 4x4 long bed with the v10. It starts and it'll move but it runs really bad and has very little power as if catalytic converter is clogged. I was told it had a dead cylinder. So my question is, are the converters likely to clog , one or both? It has 174,000 but is in excellent condition. also, do heads crack commonly as I have read.

I am working on my nephews 2005 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab with the fold up rear seats. He wants to do a full custom system in it with subwoofers and what not. Problem is I am having issues finding a seat lift kit that would raise the rear seats enough for me to get a custom sub box designed with either 4 8" subs or 2 10" subs. Does anyone have a source for a kit like this? Also looking for pictures of how they did it with their subwoofer boxes as well installed. Thanks!

Flare nut size

I'm having to replace the master cylinder on my 06 magnum sxt, the first one I bought was the wrong one so they ordered another one with different specifications, the flare nut ports on the new master cylinder that's coming Tuesday has M14 ports, the original flare nuts on my car seem like that size but I don't know, I know they're not M12, 5/16 or 1/4, does anybody know what size is on my car that screws into the master cylinder? '58 D100 dash/wiring question

First question I have is if you look at first picture, what do the 4 pull switches do? 3 are cable, and the 1 that looks like an H is wired. The second question is turn signal switch wiring..on the 2nd picture..there is light green&yellow and then dark green&yellow..trying to figure out witch is left turn signal and witch one is right turn signal...adding universal wiring harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

2015 Grand Caravan — No Fuse message on dash

My 2015 Grand Caravan was running great until I tried to start it after work. I turned the key and wouldn't crank, but got a No Fuse message on dash. I got a jump start and it cranked right up. Drove about 20 miles and the car completely shut down. Can someone tell me what is the problem?

my new project 2011 avenger 3.6L LUX

What's up ya dodgy fkrs?! I'm just looking to come up with a list (from easiest to hardest) of ways to add horsepower before i get started on this thing. For starters, I notice when i punch on the gas, sometimes i get this funny smell? Ive read it might be the catalytic converter causing that? So, along with a cold air intake im just gonna delete those cats altogether and let this thing breathe! But after that I will need to reprogram the CPU then? Is that right? ANY DIY advice, plug and... my new project 2011 avenger 3.6L LUX
