9.25 HD/dana 60 rear axle swap

Hello everyone, long time listener, first time caller. I have a 1998 B2500 5.2 van with the 8 lug 9.25 HD rear axle (315,000 miles and counting!). My rear axle got noisy and upon inspection, I found a lot of metal in the lube and worn out bearings and gears. I swapped in a junkyard unit (w/116,000 miles for $450) and its got a definite gear whine, I looked inside and some one's been into it already (doing God knows what). I'm going to remove/return the junkyard unit this week for a refund... 9.25 HD/dana 60 rear axle swap

Is my 2014 Ram asking for help?

Back in September I heard the truck beep twice. Over the next few days it continued, sometimes multiple times a day. It is still doing it occasionally. No key fob in my pocket. Nobody messing with the truck. New battery in May. I drive it 1-2 times a week during the pandemic. Both key fobs work fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

1999 Cummins cranks won’t start

I've got a 1999 dodge 3500, with 5.9 Cummins. It's got 203,000 miles. I just bought it, and regret it because of all the problems, but it's to late now. anyways, according to the guy I bought it from it has a recent lift pump, and injection pump. Both look fairly recent, judging by how clean they are compared to everything around them. it's getting about15lbs pressure at the filter housing, and fuel at the injectors when I cracked them while cycling the lift pump by bumping the starter... 1999 Cummins cranks won't start

Replacing the PCM

I purchased a refurbished PCM for my 2005 Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI and went to replace out the old one. For some reason, the previous owner of the truck glued in the connectors for two of the plugs and after prying off the plugs, the color-coded pin protectors broke off and are still glued into the PCM socket. Can I still use the wiring and try plugging in the new PCM or will I need to replace the wiring? If I need to replace the wiring, can someone point me in the right direction for that part?

92 dodge b350 van

I recently purchased a mechanics nightmare (oops I ment special) 92 dodge b350 15 passenger van withdrew a no crank no start issue. There's no power going through the ignition switch to the systems check/efi prime, starter. All the light's work, turn, 4 way, power window mirrors stereo etc work with key in run position. Then "SPLAT!" brick wall! Nothing else once you hit the start position. What besides the auto shutdown/fuel pump/ and wtf other relays/ incline fuses? And a brand new switch... 92 dodge b350 van

90 b350 over heating or just funky gauge?

hi everyone, I got a 1990 b350 5.9 got an issue with over heating. not sure if it's the gauge on the dashboard or it's actually over heating. when I leave it ideling it stays near the middle but if I dive it goes way up. there is no signs of over heating. no steam or lights on the dash. antifreeze is at correct level in rad and over flow container. unfortunately I only been able to drive for a few blocks since it's not plated. what would be the best way to know for sure if it's over... 90 b350 over heating or just funky gauge?

Fuel issue

Hoping someone can help. I have a 79 w200 and the battery exploded due to overcharging. Now that I have replaced it, the engine cranks perfectly fine but will not start without starter fluid and only runs long enough to burn through that...the tank was drained shortly before the battery incident and I added 5 gallons of fresh gas when I replaced the battery...any ideas?

Stalling

Hey just looking for any info you all may have, I have a 01 ram 1500 5.3 with a 46re transmission, I have no codes and the truck stalls in revers unless I give it gas, it also stalls when I come to a stop unless i put it in neutral, i changed the shift solenoid and govoner pressure solenoid as well as the TPS, IAC I also took the throttle body off and cleaned it well. I'm thinking it may the torque converter but I'm hoping for other ideas befor I drop the transmission
