Headlights Restored - Permanently

Finally got around to restoring my headlights. Used Super Assilex Flexible Sanding Sheets (Amazon Part #U191-150A - I got 2 sets of this) and USC Spray Max 2k High Gloss Clearcoat Aerosol. Took a while by hand to get the original uv protective coat off, but wanted to do this right the first time. Pretty pleased with the results. Will probably sand down the orange peel and buff but overall it looks much better than before. ... Headlights Restored - Permanently

Whining noise after traveling on the freeway for a short while

I have a problem where I hear a whining noise from what might be around the engine (maybe?) after traveling on the freeway for about 10 min or so and coming to a stop. I don't hear it when traveling as it seems to go away after accelerating back to higher speeds. It's like a constant whining sound that takes over the normal sound of the van when I start it up cold. It never happens in town tho I may hear it faintly after driving a while but it's definitely noticeable after driving an... Whining noise after traveling on the freeway for a short while

2019 Dodge Challenger R/T POLICE RADIO/SCANNER/CB Mount Location

Here is an idea that I came up with because I could not find a great place to mount a Motorola 2 way radio. The radio moves with the seat. The bracket is a large speaker mount bent into a 90 degree angle with three bolts going through metal seat plate. Worked quite well. Have driven all weekend with it and not even a slight problem. Holds quite well. Hope that this helps others who are looking for alternate mounting locations for a single din device. v10 oil pump

hi guys !i have a 1996 dodge truck 3500 4x4 and it has always had low hi oil pressure !! so i took it appart this weekend and i found its problem !!! not my new sending unit !! the oil pump retaining ring had two screws that backed out !!! so i took it all apart and checked it out and it was all ok and i put a new chain on it while i had it opened !! i am attaching a pic of it for all you guys that have this problem to check out your oil pump and make sure yours are tight !!

So on my 06 charger r/t this morning I started it up and the brake warning light stayed on and if I put it in drive it started flashing, so I let it sit. 1955 Dodge C1B Rear Lights stay on when truck is off

Hi all, I'm new to this site and it looks great. I am having a issue with my truck. I have a short that is intermittent. Sometimes the rear tail lights stay on when the truck is off or they stay off. I followed the electrical wires back and can't seem to find any breaks or wear. It is a 6v system. Has anyone else had this problem? I could really use some help with this. Probably something so simple, just can't seem to figure it out.

Front struts problem

This has happened to me before. I replaced the front struts with new ones of course and now I get a rattle. It is most notable at low speed over small bumps in the road. They don't even have to be bumps, just ripples in the road cause it. The old struts didn't make any noise at all, just old and needed to be replaced. All parts have been checked for tightness and clearance. Now as I said, this has happened to me before. Changing brands cured the problem last time but I bought the same... Front struts problem

91 D150 5.2l clutch problem

Hello, Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. When i try and push the clutch in on my 91 d150 4wd its hard as a rock. I can start it in gear and speed shift but if i touch the clutch it makes a horrible noise. Before this happened it would squeal when i would push the clutch in. Any clue where to start? (NO OIL IN WATER, NO WATER IN OIL) Rob slid down sitting in the Cast Iron block, may have scared the block but nothing I'd call major. But because I'm sick and tired of hearing people run their mouth than help me take the motor apart. I bought a P.O.S 3.9l motor in a 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport. What has to be done to swap motors or rebuild the 3.7l Magnum. Please... Help me please.

2008 Grand Caravan Sliding Door Gap when closed...

Thanks to a guy on a motorbike who was unlicensed and uninsured and high I have had to replace both of the doors on the passenger side of my van. I found 2 doors at a wreckers from a 2009 Grand Caravan that colored matched, etc. I simply unbolted the original doors and bolted on the new doors. Now however when I close the sliding door (it is not a powered door) there is a large gap between the front and sliding doors. There is no longer any kind of a gap on the other side of the sliding door... 2008 Grand Caravan Sliding Door Gap when closed...

Alarm/power windows

Hey guys, long time no talk. I have another second GEN ram now and my buddy was putting an alarm in but he didn't finish with the power window module. I cannot control my passenger window from my driver side master switch. Both windows roll up and down. Has anyone ran into a problem like this or does anybody have advice? Hello I just got my engine rebuilt and they put NON MDS lifters in with the non mds solenoids. Now it's throwing cylinder codes for 1,4,6,7 I just need to tune/program right ? I heard you can use non mds lifters with MDS cam. my shit is idling at like 1500 but sounds Ruff. Tune all I need ?

2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 bumper cover

Pinion not tightening

Hello, I have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 9.25 rear in 3.92 gear. This is my first time redoing my axle and tear down went pretty easy. I changed the races and bearings on the axle and the pinion but I'm stuck, I tried tightening the pinion nut but my torque wrench reads 220lbs already when it clicks and the pinion still slides in and out alittle bit. The pinion pre load is not even at 10 in lbs either yet it is very very difficult to turn and it's bending the tools that are meant for it... Pinion not tightening

Mopar side steps

Has any one taken factory wheel to wheel side steps from a Ram 2500 crew cab and put them on a Ram 1500 quad cab? They seem like they're the same length, just the mounting holes on the steps are different from the ones on the frame of the truck.

1999 B2500 Firewall Vacuum Connector

Three vacuum lines from the climate control unit pass through this connector into the engine compartment. They go to engine, water actuator and fan housing actuator. The connector ports are in a "V" configuration. Therefore, a top left port, bottom port and top right port. I need to know which line goes to which port. If you have a B2500 van (1998-2003 ?) would you please check and let me know the correct connections. I have a 2007 Durango Limited (5.7, 4x4) The starter turns over twice and stops. Half the time there is nothing at all when I turn the key. It has a new starter and I even switched it with a known working starter and got the same results. The ignition switch is working. There are no security problems that are indicated. P0523 and P06DD

also have the P06DD and also the P0523 code at the same.time. I have exchanged my oil with correct syn 5/20 and a Mopar filter I bought from AutoZone. I also changed out the oil pressure sensor twice. I also tested the wiring going to the pressure sensor and it's at 4.94V. I have cleared the codes and verified the engine light is gone, but it comes back. I have also cleared them, disconnected and reconnected. The code show up in the pending codes selection even though I have not started my... P0523 and P06DD

Tire Size???

Hey all I'm about to purchase new tires for my 2005 Ram 1500 QC 2WD. All of these dang metric sizes confuse the heck out of me. Anyway the stock tire size is 275/60/20. I see some tires that I want, but they are 275/55/20. The guy at Tire Rack said that wouldn't be a big deal & about 1" shorter than the stockers. Does that sound right? Also I'm planning on lowering the truck. Before the new year I am going to get some Groud Force 1.5" shackles. In the near future after the new year I plan... Tire Size???

1973 Dodge B300 Sportsman RV crossmember oil pan

Hi Guys I have a 1973 B300. 360v8 a727 trannie. I just pulled the transmission jacked up the engine and got the pan almost off but had to pull the pump with the pan hanging. I think I must have strange pick up as it wont let me get the pan off with the pump on, even pushed the pick up tube all the way up, still no go. Seems like almost everyone can get the pan off with the transmission still installed, but not this set up. Anyway I put it all back together and the pump isn't pumping. 5.2 performance hacks

Hey guys, I'm new here and I have a question that maybe some of you would also like to know the answers to. I have an all stock 5.2 with plans of rebuilding to a lower compression with a larger stroke and using forged or billet internals. My question is, aside from building the engine up, are there any old school race hacks that you guys used to shave seconds off in a quarter or just makes the engine run more efficiently. 04 Caravan stuck in Park

Hello all, This is a new problem on van that has a little over a 100k miles on it (med van with ramp). What has happen a few times is the shifter stuck in park. I played with it a few times at the start, jiggling the shifter and pushing the van. I think it was timing on getting it out of park, but was able to get it out a few times. Now it doesn't seem to budge. The brake lights are working correct and everything else seems to be working fine. Just can't get it out of park. Any... 04 Caravan stuck in Park

Panel or vent actuator location

I have a 2000 Dakota, with the vacuum actuators. I have searched everywhere for information on where the actuator for the vent door is, found the recirculate door, actuator, the defrost and the floor actuator, but can not find the one for the vent door. They all work great but when I turn it to vent it comes out the floor vent. Please help, and thanks in advance.
