Hi every one, thought I'd tell you a little about my Van. Its an ex-USAF van pretty much unmolested, origional paint someone has ply lined the interior and sound deadened it. . . thats a bonus. It has the 3.9 v6 I hav no idea what that translates into ci's and a three speed auto, I say three speed but mostly it stumbles around in 2nd, I have to be on the motorway and over 55mph before it decides to shift into third.... is that normal?? Carb problem/Fuel problem?

ive a 1980 d150 with the slant 6 single barrely holley, rebuilt the carb and got the truck running, but it boggs when i acc fast(at idle or while moving), if i slowly acc its fine, if i hold the top choke flap to about 80% closed it revs fine etc etc, ive tried adjusting the mixture screws and no change to the issue, im curious is there a way to tell if its low fuel pressure or clogged port in carb? if fuel preassure how much should the mechanical fuel pump be pushing? i plan to get inline... Carb problem/Fuel problem?

Hello all new here… I have a 91W 250 with a 5.9L 360 gas motor recently it's been converted over to a carburetor… That is working great. I am now having charging issues of overcharging and under charging …just had the alternator converted to a one wire system… The alternator was checked and in working order before the conversion to a one wire… my question is do I need to unhook any wires going to the old regulator coming from the wire harness and does the computer modular need to be... '92 Caravan hood won't lock in place

Hello everyone. All of a sudden my hood won't lock in place. Maybe someone else has had this issue? The issue appears to be with the upper apparatus/spring on the hood, and not the lower apparatus above the radiator, as the lower apparatus works properly when greased good, and it is. I removed any grease from the spring mechanism in case it was causing it to slip rather than catch, but that didn't resolve anything. Can you DIY program key fob on 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan?

We have a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, and we just got a second key fob (the kind you insert into the ignition and turn to start). I had hoped to program a third myself since I'd be starting with two keys, but I've read in a couple of places that this isn't possible with Grand Caravans 2010 and newer. But I've also read it's entirely possible. Any insight into this?

Stock radio in a 1990 D150

1998 Dodge 1500 318 Magnum

I have a 98 ram 1500 318. It's performing well but last week after going over everything I noticed my coolant reservoir has mixed antifreeze and oil. the engine oil is not milky(no sign of coolant in it). It's not overheating, rad is clean, maintains good oil pressure even in 4x4. The only thing I've notice since seeing that is it seems to roll over slower and fire weak. Probably 2 separate issues. Let me know what yous think or know to look for. Thanks

hello yall and thank you for allowing me to trouble you all with an issue I've been battling for a while. Recently rebuilt my 04 rams 4.7 v8 new engine tech pistons, new skd crank, all new injectors also had valve seats redone, new complete timing kit. Once it all was back together slapped in and it ran great but all of a sudden I've developed a p0175 and p0172 code. So I've replaced all 4 sensors twice and not with bosh, with Mopar product and ot still idles rough and acts funny. Steps I... P0175 and p0172 codes Possible bad pcm??

I have a 2001 dodge 1500 5.9 gas magnum with the 46re and got this truck a little over a year ago now. Since about 11 months ago I started to have issues with the trans shifting in and out of overdrive on its own, having to keep an eye on the fluid level, it would refuse to shift out of 1st or 2nd or even 4th into overdrive and before it would shift the RPMs would jump up. I have already replaced the overdrive solenoid, filter, fluid, and the wiring harness to that solenoid and another one...

Gen 2 Dodge Dakota No Crank No Start

I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota with the 4.7 V8. I recently crashed it and rebuilt everything so it should be running, but it's not even trying to start. The fuse box did get knocked a bit in the crash and looks a little questionable. I can hear a fuse click when the key turns on, but nothing besides that. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for getting this truck to try to start.

Ignition Won’t Turn to Off Position

Starting today I have been unable to turn the ignition into the off position. I can remove the key from the cylinder and still turn the ignition on and off. My first thought it may be a locked steering wheel, but the steering wheel moves freely. As of right now I can start and turn off the truck without a key installed in the ignition. P0442 Fix

I had an occasional check engine light (P0442) pop up over the last few weeks, and after a new gas cap, and then a few you-tube videos I found the issue. The small hose attached to the canister had a split in it where it bends. Jury-rigged a fix out of a couple of pieces of fuel line hose and so-far so-good. Allegedly a very common problem.

91 dakota vibration

Hey everyone, I bought a 91 2wd 3.9 dakota with 67××× miles recently and I'm having some trouble out of it. 1st of let me start by saying I haven't had it long and it's not a daily driver so I've not fooled with it hardly at all. But what's going on is at 35-75 mph it has a hard vibration in the front end you can see it vibrating inside and also looking at the hood, and feel it bad in the steering wheel. If you let off the gas or put it neutral it completely goes away and acts the worse... 91 dakota vibration

Help! Thanksgiving night we were traveling home, when my transfer case literally exploded going down the highway. Gears are missing, can see a chain hanging out. I have not a single clue as to why this happened, or how to even fix it. Will the entire tranny have to be replaced?
