When the reluctor, toothed wheel and ECU go breasts up

On your D-series pickup, can a bad reluctor and toothed wheel take out the transistor ECU? Mine seem to have failed together. A bit difficult to diagnose because you don't expect both the reluctor and the ECU to go bad at the same time. Any thoughts?

Any wiring diagrams for 85 D150 w/6

I am having issues finding a diagram. I have a slant 6 and the wiring diagrams I find are way different than what Im seeing in person. The Chilton's and Haynes manuals don't show exactly what I'm looking for so can't quite match things up. Any help is appreciated. I'm wanting to see the bulkhead connector so I can follow along with a manual and also fusible links diagram so I can see what's going on there. I own an 03 1500. My boyfriend (now ex) had the engine and transmission swapped from an 06 2500. My request was only that he repair the leaking transmission. Miles travels

I have a 2022 Ram ProMaster 2500 136 wheelbase cargo van converted to a camper. My issue is that I cannot find a way to see how many miles I have put on the van! In every vehicle I have ever owned you simply looked on the dashboard and there it was. Also the other day I could not turn the engine off and there was a key icon in the display. I finally had to disconnect the battery.

HO2S heater control circuit codes P0031, 0037, P0051, P0057

Just installed a rebuilt ecm/tcm. Battery drained down overnight. Charged it up and cranked it and the gages didn't work. Checked ohm draw on positive battery cable and I get 12.5 ohm draw. Checked the relays by pulling them and the draw was the same. However, after removing one and plugging it back in the gages all started working. Engine light came on and the above codes appear. Is it possible that this circuit is where the draw down is occurring?

We are trying to get a 1990 Dodge D or W (can't figure out which it is)150 back on the road. Timing cover coolant leak

Hi all, great forum! 1998 Ram 1500 5.2 Have had a very small coolant leak for quite a while, I could not find it until now because it dripped onto the engine and evaporated. Finally found that it is seeping from the upper left of the timing cover on the engine block. Could this be a bigger issue than just a very old gasket? I have no other problems other than the crank seals are also old and seep oil in the cold winters. Thanks for your consideration.

Hey everyone or anyone, I have a 2005 1500 slt and the front tail lamp will light up with parking lamps on, but will not blink. It worked faintly when i bought the truck, but burned the bulb out. Replaced the bulb and now the problem of not blinking. I replaced the multifuction lever and the front control module(from junkyard), and there is no difference, relay swapped too, no difference, swapped socket and bulb with the right side, no difference. Schematics show 2 wires and a ground... Front tail light will not blink.

SRS Code - Pressure Switch Circuit Open

I've been having an intermittent SRS light that comes on, and all of the seatbelts in the truck lock in position. They can retract but not be pulled out. There's no rhyme or reason to why the light cuts off. Sometimes I can cycle the truck on and off a couple times, and the light may or may not turn off. I borrowed a friends Matco scanner and eventually got the light to come on again. The SRS code simply says: PRESSURE SWITCH CIRCUIT OPEN What could this mean? I can't seem to find... I've been having an intermittent SRS light that comes on, and all of the seatbelts in the truck lock in position. They can retract but not be pulled out. There's no rhyme or reason to why the light cuts off. Sometimes I can cycle the truck on and off a couple times, and the light may or may not turn off. I borrowed a friends Matco scanner and eventually got the light to come on again.

97 dodge ram 360 engine swap to a 440

Hello group. I am swapping out a 97 360 dodge ram to a 1976 440. Things changed, engine mounts, 727 trani, aftermarket gauges,shortened driveshaft ,switched to holly carb, installed 26-2800 stall converter. What other issues will I need to address? A/c? Fuel pump?headers? Speedometer? Or any other issues?

1977 d100 alternator

Good evening everyone! So I am dealing with a 1977 d-100 with a 318. I have been trying to install a one wire alternator on this motor. I first tried to install a powermaster 8-57529 with my original brackets and then a different set of alternator brackets. It didn't fit what so ever. I then tried to install powermaster 8-58529 and I didn't have any luck with that either. First picture is the original mount and first alternator I ordered vs the stock one. I have a 99 ram 1500 that has 260,000 miles and starting to lose compression all cylinders between 110-118. this is a daily driver and I pull a 5th wheel camper in Colorado often. I am not fan of running above 3.5k rpm on long hills loaded, I use to get high teens empty 10 pulling trailer and not its10-8 all the time. 2012 dodge caravan wipers won’t stop

My wipers are stuck on even with the van off key out… everything works fine all the speeds change mist turn signals they just won't shut off I've changed the fuse changed the wiper motor changed the turn signal/wiper switch all together nothing works ? I scanned my van no error codes at all I disconnected the battery to see if maybe it was a computer issue somehow…any ideas would be appreciated

91 W150 Fire wall ground wire.

The ground wire that bolts to firewall (center) just above the coil is over heating and burning the protective cover off. Trying to find the other end to replace it, any knowledgeable people know the answer.

Putting my van back together after replacing the intake manifold gasket. There are 2 vacuum ports on the right rear of the intake manifold plenum. One is to the cruise control, but what's the other one? I'm not finding a loose line anywhere.

Putting my van back together, got a couple of questions. Can someone tell me what this plate is, and where it goes? I don't remember where it was. It's been a couple of months since I took it off, when taking everything apart to replace the intake manifold gasket. I started a couple of months ago. Had bad fracture that interfered with getting it done. All better now.

2004 dodge Grand caravan brake drums

So, I am trying to replace my drums on my 2004 dodge Grand caravan 3.3L. Here's the problem that I ran into. I went to one of the auto shops here in town and they have me a pair of drums that supposedly fit. Took off my tire and the existing drum, went to put on the new drum and it's cm's off. Can anyone help me find the one that I need?

What are the two walnut-sized "bumps" on the top of my rearview mirror?

Dear Forum, I seem to be a repository for dumb, inane questions. Here's my latest: The rearview mirror on my 2019 Grand Caravan GT has two walnut shaped bumps on top of it and for the life of me, I can't figure out what they are or for. 94 to 97 drivers side front splash guard

I need the above mentioned splash guard on my 96 b van. Every one I check out at pick and pulls is also missing. Is this a real common thing that they fall off and most all of the vans are missing that part? Just to clarify I'm talking about the rubber piece that is held in with plastic push pins that sits behind the wheel and keeps water and such from splashing onto the engine. I was going to check and see if the older vans had the same part, but the ones I checked were gone too.

2013 Dodge Grand Caravan temperature blend actuator

Hi new here and need ideas, I changed the driver side temperature blend actuator because it was making a clicking noise. I disassembled it and it had a stripped gear. I purchased a Dorman # 604-024 air door actuator and replaced it. Now the problem comes in, When I unlock the doors to get in and start the van the rear window defroster switch light is flashing and takes about 30 seconds to stop before the a/c will function. Does anyone have any ideas as to the problem?

I finished replacing the intake manifold gasket, and I'm putting everything back together. Due to a bad hand fracture, I had to wait awhile to get back to it. I don't remember where everything was. Those 2 little connectors on the top pic, I know one goes to the MAF, I don't know where the other one goes. Positioning o2 sensors

Ok guys, I need some assistance here. This is for a 4th gen Ram 1500 w/5.7 Hemi After Cat delete and running American Racing Long Tubes with true dual into a couple glass packs and 6" tips. WHERE IS THE BEST LOCATIONS TO HAVE THE O2 Sensor bungs welded into the system. I was thinking 1 on each side up near the headers and 1 on each side down by the glass packs. But now I'm wondering if that will work. I have Hemifever Stage II Custom tune on my Trinity 2 so im not worried about throwing... Positioning o2 sensors

PCV Valve popping out

Recently bought a 2010 Caravan 3.3. With 78,000 mi. Carfax shows regular oil changes/ maintenance. It seems to run great. Anyhow saw it was using oil so I thought I'd change the PCV valve. (Its the press in type not the screw in type) I pulled the hose off and there was no PCV valve in the Valve cover...... Looked in the hose and it was stuck in the hose. I removed it replaced it with a new one (seated it tightly), didn't use any oil for 2000 mi. Thought I had it fixed. Checked the oil at... PCV Valve popping out

Undercoating and Bed Removal questions

Hello all....I have a 1991 Dodge W150 that I am in the process of restoring/updating. I am now adding things to the to do list because I am falling in love with working on the truck! I want to take the bed off (8' bed) and sandblast the frame etc and coat it. I also want to blast as much of the frame under the cab and engine but I am worried about getting that sand everywhere. Hi, If anybody can help me out here with advice or where to look next, I would be really gratefull ! Ram 1500, 2004, 5.7 Hemi, AWD, Auto. EML Light came on, Code P0480, Fan 1 Control Circuit.
