I took these airbags off of my 2018 3500 ram I don't think that these will fit the 5Gens and the top bracket are missing but can easily find them on Etrailer.

V10 swap 01 1500 Offroad Edition

I have three Rams. 1997 club cab 1500 5.9, 2001 quad cab 1500 5.9 Offroad Edition and a 99 quad cab 2500 8.0 donor truck. My 97 is a 426 stroker (yet to be realized) project. Modifications thus far-FI air gap intake manifold, 222/218/114 camshaft, fast bleed down lifters, hardened pushrods, stainless 1.7 rockers on Hughes Iron Ram 2.02/1.62 heads & long tube ceramic coated headers. It runs really well and alot better than stock but it has a long ways to go performance wise. We'll save that... V10 swap 01 1500 Offroad Edition

No, not THAT kind of trans plan... I bought a 99 4wd 2500 V10 with 140k, well documented maintenance, beautiful interior, and a transmission issue he told me about up front. I drove it, found that after it's finally in 3rd or OD, it's fine. But getting it to shift correctly after it was warm was difficult. Moving the shifter in and out of D and high revving combos made it happen finally, but I still had a good feeling about the truck. The fluid level was quite high on the trans dipstick... My trans plan...

2010 Ram Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly

So we've already replaced the front assemblies on my 2010 4WD Ram 1500. I'm looking to replace the rear assemblies (wheel bearing and hub assembly) but all I can find are assemblies listed as "front". Does it make a difference? Are the front and rear assemblies the same? Hello everyone, Had a customer come in and needed some rear sway bar/stabilizer bushings and mounts because his mounts snapped. The mounts looked aftermarket, and those mounts snapping? Never seen that. The metal looked weak, and I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING for it. Called Dodge and they told me the vin is a 2006 AND that it doesn't come with a rear sway bar. Problems During Cab Clearance lights install (BCM?)

So, I messed up during Installing Mopar Cab Clearance lights, after splicing the wire per the instructions into BCM Connector A, I didn't fully re-connect it. Not knowing that and re-connecting the battery, trying to start the truck is when Problems Started. 1. First problems were that the truck wouldn't start, Dash said to service Power Steering, air bag system, Electric brake System. one low beam light out. Scanner couldn't communicate with ECM. 05 Dodge Magnum RT Overheating Issue

Engine Swap Troubles 4.7l 05

Decided to engine swap my 05 4.7l 1500 4x4 pickup recently since the original motor has been suffering from a cracked head. Bought a 120k mile motor off of car part planet. When it came we noticed it cane out of a jeep. Had a shoterned water pump fan and diffrent oil dip stick. We swapped over all of our accessories and dropped in the motor smoothly. expansion plug on head

The expansion plug poped out of my 318 1987 D150 today on passenger side rear. Can I replace it with the rubber expansion style the you can slip in and tighten up the center bolt. Do not want to pull the enging for a freeze plug . Any help or ideas ?

help with insturment lights

A few months ago wife had a new stereo receiver installed in her van and ever since, the battery will die if the vehicle is not driven in about 36 to 48 hours. Have taken it back to the shop several times, first they blamed the battery then the alternator, then the wheelchair ramp for my daughter. Been frustrated with this for a while. Have AC: Its just not blowing into the Cab atht much

Redid my 318 LA V8 recently and when I installed the new AC compressor, the refrigerant was working fine: making tons of condensation on the AC lines. The compressor and clutch were working just fine. But.........inside the cab, the temp of the air eventually got there but it didn't blow with much power at all. The blower and fan "sound" like always on our 88, but just not much coming into cab. Thanks

Engine Block Coolant Plug Problems

I removed the engine block coolant plugs on my 1987 D150 318. The plug threads were pretty chewed up, and now I can't get them to thread back in! I'm plugless and stuck. I've heard they're 1/4" NPT pipe fittings. I bought new ones and they barely thread half way in. I think I need to tap the threads, but don't know if I can use an SAE tap. Can anyone help so I can get this truck running again? Thanks!

Flywheel issues with fitment

Hello I am restoring a 47 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup by combining parts from a 1967 Dodge Military surplus 230 flat head six with a 49 passenger car 230 block. The motor assembly went well until I tried to bolt up my 40's truck flywheels which just would not clock up to the bolt holes on the 1967 crank. (Didn't expect this.) Trying to figure out what I can do with this? The flanges fit as well as the starter stuff etc but two of the bolt holes don't line up. I'd be good with over drilling... Flywheel issues with fitment

89 B250 318 No Overdrive - need to source a VSS

Hi I have been having issues with no OD on my van. It looks like the VSS is likely the issue, I have no cruise control and it is throwing me a code 15 with the key dance. I had a shop take a look at it as before I got the code as I was having trouble diagnosing it. They are also pretty sure the sensor is the issue but they are unable to source a VSS. Good evening, I have a 2010 Grand Caravan SE with a 3.3 engine, I have been having some electronic issues that I was wondering if anyone else has experienced and/or might know the cause. 2013 dodge grand caravan issue

Bought a 2013 dodge grand caravan, battery light cones on followed by check engine light-usually if battery light doesn't go out it misses terribly. Put a new oxygen sensor in, found a broken ground wire and fixed it, had it put on a machine and throws same codes, exhaust leak, another oxygen sensor, guy said fix ground and it should take care of problems. A/C QUESTION FOR AN 89 W150

Hey guys I have an 89 150 and my A/C an issue... The system is full and everything works the lines are freezing cold going to the truck from compressor BUT the air coming into the cab isn't that cold ....I've noticed that my compressor isn't cycling at all.... Question is "Should my compressor cycle?" It's been converted a long time ago to 134. I replaced the cycling switch with one from a salvaged truck.... Any thoughts on what's going on...Thanks for any input

Cut Mystery Wires

I finally took my 1987 D-150 with the 318 out of storage after several years to fix up. I had been trying to fix my temperature gauge for a while and could never find the temperature sensor (I finally located it behind the alternator). While looking for it near the thermostat (which is leaking a ton, I'm fixing tomorrow) I found two cut wires. I traced the wires back to a connector, then to a big wire harness on the firewall. Maybe not so coincidentally, I found an empty threaded hole next... Cut Mystery Wires

Hello, I noticed tonight that my rear left turn signal does not flash if the headlights are on. If the engine is not turned on, it blinks. I turned the engine on and it stopped blinking. I turn the headlights off and the engine on and it blinks. It kind of looks like it very faintly dims like its going to blink but doesn't. I am a bit stumped… Please help!

Today I bought a 2008 Dodge Dakota 3.7 four-wheel-drive and it will not run. Code reader shows 0 faults. The battery is fully charged and the compression is perfect. I have spark to the cylinders and the fuel pressure from the rail is 67 psi. Starter turns, ignition fires, fuel pressure is solid, but I am not getting any fuel… Quick starting fluid, (ether) fires the engine immediately, idles, and reacts accordingly, when throttle is applied but only with the assistance of the ether. Last... I am a bit stumped… Please help!
