2012 ram 2500 small red light flashing no crank. Please help

History on the the truck it sat in my driveway for around 6 month nothing was wrong when parked I would start the truck every once in a while but the past month I haven't touched the truck I went out to start it the other day battery was dead charged it but nothing all lights work on the truck I thought the battery's was bad replaced them still nothing when I try to crank her I can hear a relay clicking but won't crank I checked all fuses all good there. AC issue

I'm having something wierd going on. Just changed most my ac parts under the hood....got a full charge, pulled the bad recirculation door out...and now...I'm getting cold air out the driver side and warm out the passenger side....never seen that before...usually it's opposite because of low charge. Any ideas?

I'm thinking about replacing steering rack, pressure hose, reservoir tank, outer tie rods, lower control arms and stabilizer bushings GOING TO USE ALL MOOG EXCEPT FOR STEERING RACK, PROBABLY EITHER BBB VISION OR AC DELCO, AN THOUGHTS ON THE RACKS?. I've already replaced the stabilizer link arms and struts at 143K. SO MY QUESTION IS WITH 170K EASY MILES NOT DRIVEN HARD. LAST 8YRS ONLY 5-7K PER YEAR. My husband and I just purchased a 2000 Roadtreker van (motor home style) and were just told that the single backseat isn't connected to the chassis and is not safe for our one year old son's carseat. We are exploring options like adding a middle seat in the front seat (taking out the small island) or turning off the passenger seat airbag. Has anyone had a similar issue with a child's safety seat? Promaster City Dome Light as an always on power source?

Anybody know how set USB port to always on in the Promaster City? I heard it is possible by moving a fuse on Ram Trucks. Also know what lines always on hot and ground in the overhead dome? I'm not worried about draining as I have a large deep cycle and a solar panel that maintains it. Video

I stopped by a dealership to look at a PM Van. In the cargo area I noticed inside of one of the ribs (I think thats what they are called) a wire connection that was like a bundle taped every which way peeking through the opening. Looked kind of like that. I'd think nothing of that except of how untidy it looked. i'd be curious on any PM owners to comment if that is how things normally should be.

Fuel Pressure

Replaced my fuel pump. Will start and run till it hit normal temp then shuts off. I am able to restart instantly and drive a mile or so and it does it again. Fuel pressure test. Key on engine off was 65. Motor running it was 65 and slowly gained to 70-72. Please tell me what it could be.

Differences with 3.7 and 3.9 manual nv3500

I have a 3.9 manual tranny behind my 5.9 magnum, got a 3.7 one yesterday, everything looks about the same besides the throwout bearing, bellhousing does line up for most part, are they're differences in clutch or anything else if anyone knows.

1983 W350 no/weak spark

Need help. Started working on an 83 W350 manual transmission that has been sitting for about 25 years. Got it running with a new carb, starter and battery, but only ran for about 15 minutes and shut off like someone turned the key off. I've been working on pulling some production detail (not sales) for the 1989-91 Dakota convertibles. There have been quite a few numbers floating around for years. 04 Durango 5.7 hemi overheating

I recently purchased a 1 owner Durango (4 x 2) with a tow package. It had issues with overheating, especially when idling. I ended up having to replace the engine after it threw a rod. New water pump, thermostat was part of the new build. The overheating was better but still an issue when sitting or especially when towing. ASs long as the vehicle is moving the temp is acceptable, as soon as you stop it starts rising. Truck wont drive

It all started when I hooked up a light bar to my truck. I lost alot of power in my truck and it didn't have any guts. So I removed the light and continued to drive it. One day I went to leave and it would start but won't drive. So a shop told me to replace the pedal which I did, but didn't work. So I than replaced the throttle body per shop request and it didn't work either. It's throwing a p2122 code. What else can I do or someone know what it could be?

1987 Dodge W150 Fuel Line Schematic for Pump/Filter

Greetings Going thru my ol' dodge today i think i found something out of place, the fuel pump is inline before the fuel filter which I'm guessing a previous owner made a mistake on. It has run fine in the past, but was wondering if anyone had a diagram of proper installation for filter and pump? Would be greatly appreciated as I cannot find my Haynes repair manual. Thanks!

Transmission adjustment

i just fixed my 46re tranny in my 96 ram 1500. The drivers side band was so loose the scag fell off the adjustment screw. 3hrs later we're all back together and ready to roll. Problem is i only had 1st and reverse when this happened. Now i have all the gears but 1st is slow going and chatters when i start to go. Any ideas? Bands to tight? Nottight enough?

Hi All - I'm new to working on water-cooled engines, but my dodge van had a wonky oil pressure light on start up - I had recently changed the oil and only see that light if it burns off too much oil and I do a hard corner. Next day it was out and stayed out on a 50 mile drive. Spare tire mount under bed

Hi all, I have a 1979 Power Wagon W150, A few years ago I took the spare tire out from under the bed. I am attaching some pictures of it. Bucking 1947 Dodge WC pickup

I have an original 1947 Dodge WC. The engine starts idles and revs just fine. However, when I get on the road and am at about 40mph under moderate load the engine starts bucking really bad to the point that I have to slow down to stop the bucking. I have put new gas in, installed new spark plugs, new plug wires, timing is on and the timing advances when the engine is reved. Never had this experience. Compression is not great 50 to 80. Even with the low compression I still would not expect... Bucking 1947 Dodge WC pickup

I have an original 1947 Dodge WC. The engine starts idles and revs just fine. However, when I get on the road and am at about 40mph under moderate load the engine starts bucking really bad to the point that I have to slow down to stop the bucking. I have put new gas in, installed new spark plugs, new plug wires, timing is on and the timing advances when the engine is reved. Never had this experience. Compression is not great 50 to 80. 2013 Ram C/V Interior Quarter Panel Removal

Everywhere I look it falls back to the ProMaster, So Thought I would take a shot. I need to remove the rear quarter panels to install brackets for shelving but I cannot find schematics for this thing anywhere. Is it considered idiot proof? They have NOT met me lol. Actually I just like to be prepared, I am a read first, grab a tool second person. If anyone can offer a point in the right direction I would be grateful. Thank you for looking. RIchard

Transmission vent cap?

I appear to have a vent tube next to my shifter on my manual transmission. Any ideas on where I can find the proper cap for this? Its the silver tube to the bottom right of the orange boot. This is a 2005 dodge ram 2500

Started off had a misfire on cylinders 2 and 8. Replaced all plugs and wires. Brand new distributor and replaced every sensor possible. Dine compression check and needless it was bad on cylinders 2 and 8. So I pulled engine and rebuilt completely. EVERYTHING is brand new. Put back in the truck and I have checked 400 times over and everything is plugged back in correctly. No vacuum leaks and timing is perfect. Odd 2006 DS headlight issue

2006 2500hd Cummins Been a long time since posting on here but have a weird drivers low beam issue. -Other functions works fine, signal, high beams, fogs - only DS low beam failed -No drivers low beam, only passenger side. -Swapped bulbs from passenger side thinking was issue as did not work -Plug is fine -Wiring is fine Here is the kicker,.. there is 12v and ground at the plug for the DS low beam circuit, but bulb doesn't work when plugged in. 2019 scatpack shifting problems

i have a 2019 A8 charger scatpack did a launch last Friday and ever since that launch my car won't shift At full throttle wether it's in paddle shift mode or just in drive . it cruises just fine , gears shift normal , even when I cruise with paddle shifters. 1 brake light bulb then the whole passenger side brake lights went!

So I noticed I had one brake light bulb on the driver's side out so I changed it and the brake light bulb still wouldn't come on then when I got home and I pushed the brake pedal to see if anything had changed I noticed the whole passenger side brake light assembly wouldn't come on. All taillights work when headlights are on but not when you hit the brakes!

Just had a service and safety check and wanted everything checked out. Mechanic says diff selector switch not getting power to diffs. Somebody replaced the disconnecting sway bar with a straight sway bar, wirings still connected to front and rear diffs. Mechanic suggests starting with new selector switch. How to drain fuel tank in 03 ram 5.7

My 03 has been in storage for a long time because of the tuning issues. I have since converted it to a 5.7 and had the PCM flashed and it's running great now. I only ran it for a few seconds as I have really old fuel in there. So I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to drain the fuel. Currently the truck is in a storage unit with no room. Took the 02 Grand Caravan to mechanic due to engine thump, thump, thump during hard acceleration. Engine code says misfire on cyl 5. Mechanic says pressure on #5 is 160 whereas the other cylinders are in the 130 range. They suspect valve not opening and possible flattened lobe on cam. Plus it probably need plugs, wires, and coil. Rear end impacted passenger side

So my rear end was impacted on the passeneger side. Did not make contact with the box. Made straight contact with rear passenger rim/tire causing hub cap to break and a wobble to happen. Of coarse for the wobble i inspected my self , which was bent from the impact. So i replaced the axle. I also got the tire and rim checked and they were A Ok. Drivers door does not stop radio with key off when opened

I have a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, it has an issue that the radio and other accessories do not turn off when the door is opened and the key is turned off. I believe it is the switch, which in older cars was a push pin type switch that was easily identified and easily replaced. This "car" doesn't have that, I'm guessing that the switch is inside the door attached to the door latch assembly, that's the best guess I have right now.
