2003 ram 1500 5.9 magnum with 46re shifting problems.

The transmission had been freshly rebuild due to loss of overdrive. Now when taking of from a stop it shifts 1st to 3rd. It shifts fine manually 1st to 2nd to drive. If you floor it from a stop it shifts 1st to 3rd, and if you hold it, it will downshift into 2nd. It shifts fine from there until you stop again. It had the same issue with the old and new solenoids. At 45-65mph you can floor it, and it will downshift into 2nd. It will hang there until 75mph, so at highway speed it will shift... 2003 ram 1500 5.9 magnum with 46re shifting problems.

'58 d100 rear brakes

I have a 1958 d100 . I want to replace the rear drum brakes that are single wheel cylinders, but keep the current drums. Just update the backing plate, hardware and shoes with a common style. Has anyone else done this???

I inherited my Grandfather's 1986 Dodge d150 5.2 318 Royale SE, and started removing all of the emission equipment. There's a sensor next to the bypass hose on the intake. Can I remove this since it originally went to the computer under the driver's side fender? if not, how do I wire it up? Also, I need help wiring my oil pressure sensor and switch. They're installed but need to know wiring.I still have original connectors for reference. Finally, I need a trans pan replacement. OEM is fine... Stow and Go issue

My son just bought a 2017 SXT Grand Caravan and we're having issues stowing the middle 2 seats. The strap doesn't fold either seat but we figured out how to pull the lever under the seat to get it to fold. The problem now is the seat isn't able to be stowed. It seems to be hitting something that prevents it to go down into the stow position. The 2 front seats are up.as far as they can go. What are we doing wrong?

2014 GC SXT High Beam malfunction

Howdy ya'll. I'm curious if anybody has seen this issue before, or might have some ideas on troubleshooting. Long story short, any time I try to switch on my highbeams, they'll come on for a few seconds and then the my entire instrument cluster appears to momentarily lose power (gauges zero, lights turn off, radio goes dark, etc...) It comes back on pretty quickly, but as long as the highbeam switch is left on, it tends to repeat the intermittent power issue. Any ideas?

Heater core removal 72 campervan

Hey folks! Hoping to find some advice here for removing the heater core from my '72 B300 campervan. I've got the AC lines out of the way and every screw I can lay eyes on or feel around for. I can get it to wiggle, but still something holding fast on the right side (as you're looking at it) of the box against the firewall, maybe between the the hose connections. I appreciate any suggestions!

Engine vibration that is intermittent

My 2003 4.7 Dakota has an engine vibration that is intermittent. For the most part, when the truck is cold it does not vibrate and once it warms up it starts. If I drive for a while, especially once I get up to 45 - 55 mph the vibration stops. It vibrates sitting still and moving. I have replaced the water pump and fan clutch and I pulled the fuse for the electric fan with no success. It does not matter if the AC is on or off as to whether it vibrates or not. Testing fuel pump before i drop the tank

08 ram 1500 5.7 hemi quad cab just died on my way home. Has gas and oil. Turns over great but won't start. It starts momenterily with starting fluid. I've been told the problem is the fuel pump. I would somehow like to confirm that before I drop the tank. (Whose brilliant idea was it to pump in the tank?) Thanks

hi I have a 2004 Ram 1500 4x4 SLT 4.7L 5 speed manual tran I just received a used programmed PCM and my ABS light is flashing. my scan tool is reporting an ABS code 54 - Shorted Dump Coil Rear and a ABS code 55 (which i cant find the explanation of that anywhere) Does anyone know how to test or the location of this Shorted Dump Coil Rear? thanks

Kore offroad rod bearings

I'm new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone who has purchased a kore offroad suspension kit for a dodge 1500. I have an 07 1500 4WD, needing to replace the rod bearings on the upper A-arms. Spoke with kore and said to measure and order either fk bearing or aurora. Measure and can't seem to find the right ones for replacement. Don't have an accurate way to measure and was wanting to know if anyone haz replaced this part and what part or measurements did you get.

EVIC locked on Fuel Economy, buttons not responding :(

Hi! New-to-me 2017 DGC SE Plus with 70k miles. After buying it, I got button-curious and discovered the EVIC. I was able to cycle through the menus and finally landed on the Fuel Economy. So I've got a 2001 Dodge ram V8 5.2 l 4x.. I don't know what to look for in this. 2WD light comes on and works, 4WD hi doesn't light or engage, but 4 low engages and the light comes on like it's supposed to.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,thanks.

1986 Dodge D-150 Smog Problems

Hi, I have an 86 d150 with the 225 slant 6(federal emissions, and I'm in California) and I've chasing issues, right now it's the egr. The computer has been changed(which unfortunately didn't fix it) and I've checked just about everything. I've looked up many different things regarding the egr to find nothing. details of my issue: When I first start the truck, the egr functions and the valve will have vacuum and open when snapping the throttle. "parasitic drain" new battery, alternator OK

2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.8 v8 New battery, alternator tests OK. Two times (after sitting a few days) battery seems drained (have not had this issue before... had the truck for years) Both times this happened (first, after car wash... second after rain) I got a really nice test light (neg battery disconnected) and it does seem to have a drain (not really bright like direct battery test but brighter than I would expect from just computer and radio (I know... it's hard to judge just from a... No crank no start

2004 grand caravan sport 3.3 flex fuel. I replaced my radiator due to a whole in it, then I had a crank no start with a code for the cam sensor. I removed the sensor and am waiting for a new one. While waiting I thought I would do a few other things. I removed my airbag to replace the rear steering wheel cover with one with radio buttons. I still had the airbag off, and I dont remember why but I tried to crank it and it would not. I assumed it was a safety lockout from not having an airbag... No crank no start

1996 stratus insturment cluster compatibility

Hello. I have a 96 with insturment. I used intermittent tach and sometimes the odometer would come on. Read some post and Tried to resolder. It worked better so i tried again. My soldering skills have gone down hill. Will a cluster up to 2000 work. Its an autostick, i know it has to be the same. Also will there be A milage issue. Thanks

I'm new here but I'm not young. Hoping to get some good info here. Been into mopars my whole life. Now I'm building a rwd 2000 durango. So far I bought 4 durangos and one dakota for this project and a crop load of parts. The plans are for a body kit and hood (I have those parts). Lowered 2 in all the way around, I can't figure out if I want lowering control arms or settle with just springs. I have drop springs for the rear. I will install the 03 rear dif with 392's with limited slip. I will... New dude.

Entrance swap 2006 3.3 motor and two thousand Dodge caravan

My mechanic has the two engine swapped over had to make a special bracket for accessories drill out and tap some of the casings he is almost finished but just found out the intake manifolds are not interchangeable any suggestions would be greatly appreciate it

2015 no start

Hi all,I have a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan that was running fine until I attempted to start her yesterday. Battery is fine,no drop in voltage when trying to start,it does however play a siren sound when ignition is on. I have disconnected the battery,and checked voltage to no avail,any ideas?

Tranny shifts fine, generates code

My 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 van that I've been reviving to premium used mechanical condidtion is shifting fine all through the speed range but generating a code that says: TCC or overdrive solenoid performance. If I planned to keep this van I'd drive it til it fails, but I'm planning to sell. Fix or sell as is? Tranny shop says could be solenoid pack, could be torque converter....either way, bucks for parts and labor.
